It's basically the Olympics are OUT for meeting up...so
So...
It's sometime before then....and June is peak season...so before then...
This seems the easiest time for meeting up before the Olympics.

I didn't want to leave our next meeting up to being after August :sad1:

At the rate you're going, you'll be moving to Europe before too long.

How long will you be there this time?

2 weeks

It's kind of the case I don't want to move there

So if I do the visiting while it's complicated DBF visiting....
It's the best method as I see places I haven't seen...

I've seen pretty much all of Australia...

There's a lot of lovely little villages in England. I reckon you could spend 2 years there and never get round to seeing it all.

And the English don't travel the way we do. I remember doing a day trip from Southampton to Brighton (it's an hour's drive, or two, one way) and telling a friend that lived in Southampton what we were doing. She thought we were crazy to be driving so far and back in a day! :confused3

DBF commutes 2.5hours to work :rolleyes2 when he does the long commute.

He actually does travel a bit more like we do...

It might be nearing bedtime for this Old Fogie. DH has been burning the midnight oil for work and been getting in to bed much later than normal. Last couple of nights, I woke up when he got into bed and didn't get back to sleep for an hour or so. :headache:

Birmingham was about an hour away...I don't plan to go back...

But Warwick Castle to the south
Stoke on Trent to the north.
We'll be doing various day trips. Then more lazy days wandering Shrewsbury.
I need to do more investigation of day trips.
Plus I want to find better 'normal' shopping centres...
There's one I loved but it's south east of London. So we won't be going there.

:( Hope you sleep.
I planned to sleep early last night but mum called...my mobile...at 9:30pm so I had to answer and talk to her. Then I got riled up because we were discussing the "someone's got some 'splainin to do Lucy' situation....
So I didn't sleep until at least 11pm :sad2:

We should probably both turn in

Yes. I'm practically holding up my head here.

I had an aunt that lived in Birmingham. She had a nice house but I didn't like what I saw of Birmingham (which wasn't a lot) at all.

We swung by Warwick Castle but were on a very tight budget. We didn't go in but I wish we had.
Stratford on Avon won't be that hard to get to? I liked it there.

Definitely knock off time.

Good night. Hope to catch you tomorrow and may your day be better than today.

Been to Stratford upon Avon on my first UK visit. I might investigate other Costwold attractions though...as we literally only saw that...
It's kinda complicated that area as that's where he had his honeymoon :rolleyes1
I suggested it the first trip before I knew so we went and we had a great time. But I want to be more specific if we head south

Good evening all.

Meet our new addition we will be picking up on March 28th...isn't she cute? We're using our Alaska airline credit to fly to Portland to pick her up.

She is very cute!

They're randomly generated by the computer. We have absolutely no idea who we're calling until we speak to them. And it's fine if people say no, as long as they let me screen them out :lmao: Then we don't have to call them again. It cracks me up how many people are like "STOP CALLING ME" and I'm like "Well, unless you say something like 'take me off your list' or get vulgar or abusive, I CAN'T, SO LET ME SCREEN YOU OUT". :lmao: It really bothers some of the people I work with and I'm just like :confused3 Not my problem. I'm doing my job.

But yeah, if you ever get a call that's like "Hello, my name is _____, and I'm calling on behalf of the Centers for Disease Control", either let them screen you or just have them take you off the list :rotfl2: If you say "take me off the list", we're required to do it, even if it's your machine that says it.

That is good to know... Thanks for sharing.

We usually ask to be taken off the call list, politely when they are asking for money. However, we like taking surveys and giving our opinions, so if we meet the test criteria, and are just sitting around at home, we'll usually bite. However, I don't think you care about the vaccinations that OUR kids have had! :lmao:

:lmao: Yeah, I had one lady telling me that her cat was her kid and wanted to do the survey for it and I'm like "um, does not apply?"

Glad you're feeling better.

Thanks :)

That is good to know... Thanks for sharing.

No problem :flower3: I dunno about actual telemarketers (we're not), but that's the rule for us.

I don't think I have every had the CDC call me but there is always a first time...
