That is a shame. The news was really depressing today. First the cruise ship. Then some kid shooting up a school. Followed by a father beating his baby to death claiming she accidentally fell. Finally a fifith grader beat another fith grader to death in front of seven other students.

My work day is ok. Not quite so depressing. Just mentally draining.

I hope that means things are a little better than they were. If so, I am glad to hear it. If not, I am glad that at least today was okay. I always feel mentally drained lately. Lack of adult conversation and mundane duties can do that to a stay at home Mom as well.

zucchini? YES! But it's in the fridge and it needs to be used up.

Have you been giving it to friends and neighbours as well to use it up?
I'm not a big fan usually so couldn't last this long!!

Tomatoes.....quite possibly nearly as bad as the zucchini but easier to use. And eggplant.

I stopped putting lettuce in the garden. We did get some corn, snowpeas and green beans as well.

Apples will be next.

This conversation sounds like us in the summer, squash and tomatos coming out of our ears. I take in baskets every few days to work and so does my husband.

Got to love WDW Merchandising, I bought a nice watch in Nov after having one stolen in Nassau during our cruise and the band broke over the weekend on the new one. Finally a fifith grader beat another fith grader to death in front of seven other students.

Tell me about it. The elementary school where this happened is fairly close to our house. It's not the closest elementary but I think it's within 2 miles. And just last week a woman gave birth and rather than take the baby to a firestation or hospital, she pulled a ruse to pretend her mother found the baby and called 911.

Yes! We have the deposit check, he has the keys, and hopefully everyone is all good! We only have one apartment left to rent and that one is still being remodeled.

Two of our excursions are ones where you get off the ship walk down the pier and get right on another boat so those should be fine.

My DD (Melissa) and DSIL (Jose) want to do the Cabo Coastal Highlights tour that goes to the glass blowing factory and tequila tasting so that's the only one that makes me a little nervous. I plan on leaving our DGS on the ship in the kids club while we do this one.

I'm not one that normally let's a news story keep me from enjoying myself, stuff can happen anywhere so we just need to use some common sense and be aware of our surroundings.
