Hi ladies. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Mine was great until the end of the night with the in laws. Most of you know what happened already as I talk to you guys on a regular basis but I know Chele and Leah don't know what happened so if you guys want to know I'll fill you in too. Just let me know

Leah and Betsy ~ sorry I haven't made y'alls siggies yet. Alex has been very difficult lately as he is cutting his one year molars. It sucks! So far so good tonight though. Praying he sleeps well so I can sleep well.

Cheri ~ you already know this but I am beyond excited for you and Mike!! definitely a great thing to be thankful for! I'm definitely thankful for my little miracle!

we're going on Thursday to get Alex's one year portraits done and our Christmas portraits. I'm pretty excited for that. I actually got something nice to wear which was a major concern for me. I don't think I'll look fat since I'm only 5lbs away from pre-pregnancy weight. Woot!!! I can't wait to share them with y'all! I hope they turn out really great. It's nice to have a family to have Christmas pictures done with now.

isn't that the truth?? I actually lost it all w/in a month of giving birth but gained 20lbs eating pop tarts all the time because it was easier. I stopped eating the pop tarts and started taking thyroid meds and have dropped about 15lbs in the last 2 and a half months. I'm still not where I want to be but it's a vast improvement

Wouldn't it be nice to lose weight as easily as we gain it? Scotty exercises a lot more than I do because I don't go on 60 mile bicycles rides and he wants to snack all the time. He doesn't get that I don't even want to buy that garbage.

Yes that would be VERY nice! That's good for Scotty but I totally hear you on that one! I bought some Vegetable Thins at the store this weekend and they're actually pretty good. And they're good for you too. Lots of vitamins (including folic acid Cheri!), made of wheat etc etc. So I don't feel bad for eating them.

So our christmas tree is almost all Disney ornaments every year. I have a Tinkerbell tree topper that we got when we got married but the fiber optics on her wings are totally worn out from being repackaged every year so we need a new one that will last a bit better. I think I like this one

Right now I am finishing one scarf, a quarter of the way with a second scarf and I have two fleece blankets to hem for Jason for Christmas. One is a Thomas the Tank Engine Blanket and a Cars blanket. I find it relaxing. I think one scarf will have fringe and the other won't.

You know I never make myself scarves. I make them for everybody. I even make them for the homeless but I never make them for myself. No clue why not. I made Loren this beautiful teal wool one that hangs on our coat rack. You have no idea how much I want to wear it. I get cold sometimes in the house so it is tempting as heck.
