Well, Stephanie kind of stepped up against Josh and is this morning going to stay with her dad for a while.

I am just getting ready to call the hospital, I will update as soon as I know anything.

I just talked to Stephanie. It looks like Kathy may get moved out of ICU tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed.

Stephanie told me that they think Kathy may have COPD. So now I go off to get a working knowledge of what that is.

Yeah, she does. She may have COPD though and that scares me. Our dad died from congestive heart failure so you know. I am not going to borrow trouble.

Is COPD related to the heart?

I thought that was more of a breathing thing you can develop from having pneumonia?

I have never really researched it before

We are lucky in the fact that our bay is set back and low tide so I wasn't ever worried for us.

Other areas like Santa Cruz that are directly on the Pacific ocean were hit harder than most. Crescent City and Santa Cruz lost a lot of docks and such.

There was only one person who died and I hate to be brutal but it was due to being a dumb......bunny.

We are on spring break! Just going to relax ... not going anywhere.

Now Kathy is another story. She has been on pain pills for years because of her knee. They have taken her medicine away and are only giving it to her one time a day. Her pain dr is here in Fairfield, and they are not aware of her pills or anything there. I think she is detoxing. She doesn't want to see anyone. Bob and Stephanie included. Kathy tells Steph and Bob that they are only giving her her pain meds once a day. And she is a little on edge. KWIM?

I know what she is going through, I took myself on my pain meds because I was afraid to get addicted. She has been on these meds for nearly 10 years, she is seriously addicted. That changes everything.

Now since you are off now for Spring break, do you get more time off when Easter occurs? Just curious

We get Thurs, good friday and Monday off for Easter..that it
