When I last left off, (ummm when was that again?) we had spent the day at AK- seeing shows, riding rides, and eating treats. It was time to say goodbye to AK and take a short drive over to AKL for our dinner reservation at Boma. We had never eaten there and I wasn't sure what to expect. I just love walking into this resort.
AKL restaurants...
We had some time to check out the animals on the savanna before eating.
Not sure of the look Christopher was going for here...
The kids (Juliana) saw a CM handing out sticks for 'smores and they (Juliana) were begging us to have one. I'm not sure if we were being bad parents but we said no. We were about to eat a huge dinner.
Our ADR time was getting close so we had to head back inside.
We checked in and we had about a 10-15 minute wait for our table to be ready.
Once we sat down it was time to chow!
I see Juliana found some ketchup...
Christopher was happy to eat too!
I got a St. George beer. It was very light.. almost like a Bud. It wasn't bad but I was hoping for something with more flavor.
I didn't take any pictures of my food (due to my refusal to photograph my buffet plates) but the food was very very good.
I need 6 of these chairs for my dining room.
I did take pics of my dessert. I ate about 10 zebra domes- so many I could of even been drunk after.
We had a great dinner and it was getting late. We went back to CSR and I helped get the kids to bed. Then I did what every other great husband would do, head to DHS to meet up with a DISdad and hang out with him for EMHs!!!
I hopped on a bus and was at DHS before I knew it. The Christmas tree was lit up! They waste no time changing from Halloween to Christmas.
As I was walking in, the majority of the crowd was walking out.
I was walking around looking for Ron.
Found him!
We had a great time! We rode Star Tours 3 times, TSM 2 times, and I had fun just chatting with him and his DS. We closed the park down. It was a fun night. I hopped a mostly empty bus back to CSR. I needed to get to sleep- we had a busy day planned at MK and I was shot!
Up next... Would we, could we make rope drop?
