You must be used to instant gratification. How does one make changes before they get the power? Is it done with mirrors?
Clinton's possible moral behavior aside, that was one smart "outsider" with no Washington experience that continuously out smarted and out maneuvered all the "good old boys" in Washington. That isn't the thing I wanted changed. I wanted the Bush years to be cleansed from our government.
That's all I'm saying!
That is also what I'm saying.
I am not saying that if you didn't support Obama you have to keep your mouth closed. What I said was, creating an argument based on impossible expectations is just arguing with oneself. It is only to be negative about something that cannot possibly have happened yet. Opinion is OK as long as some modicum of sense is injected into it. If one is going to say he hasn't changed anything yet, it might be the better part of intelligence and much more convincing if one waited until he was in a position to actually define and target that change.
I can't say that I'm an expert on politics but I feel pretty confident in saying that he is not yet in charge. Of course, it looks the same, Bush is still the President. That's what I wanted to see changed. I wanted to see the Dick Chaney's, Rice's and all the rest of that arrogant all powerful group out of there.
If Obama never did another thing in his first 4 years, he affected the biggest change in politics that this nation has ever seen since the revolutionary war. He won the election of the POTUS. Would that even been possible 10 years ago. I don't think so. So my point is, if you want to impress me with negative comments, wait until they can actually be considered a reality. Anything previous to that is just silly and makes one look that they are just grasping at straws.
