OMG! I am the biggest Barry Manilow Fan! I've only seen him in concert 3 times unfortunately. He is awesome! And now my kids love him too. Right now we're listening to his Christmas CD.

My favorite songs are "Weekend in New England" "Even Now" "Looks Like We Made It" and "Mandy". I really like the Big Band CD he did. I wish his new musical about the band in the Nazi Germany had made it out of Philly. He sang some of the songs from it at the last concert I saw, and I thought they were great!

OK - I've got a couple of novels for you Fanilow's!! He's featured in books by Dylan Schaffer: Misdemeanor Man & I Right the Wrongs. The principle character in the book is a lawyer who plays in a Barry Manilow cover band. They're fun books for me because they take place in "Santa Rita California" which is only thinly disguised as Oakland - where I grew up! They're lawyer/mysteries in the vein of Scott Turow, only more humorous.
