Does it say how far along she was in that picture? All I can think of is that Jon and Kate special when she was pregnant. Kate was WAYYY bigger than that.

I was watching one of those Hollywood gossip shows where Nadya's publicist blamed the public's negative reaction to Nadya and the babies on the current state of the economy. She said that if the babies had been born 3 years ago, the public would have accepted and embraced them. Something else mentioned in this show is that Nadya wrote letters to Angelina Jolie at one point.![]()

Honestly, I wonder if she is lying with this "press release" photo![]()
Wouldn't you be on complete bedrest 8 days before delivering octuplets? Why is her hair and makeup all done? She has lied so much in the past, but I think a woman would be WAY bigger (and bed bound) a few days before delivering 8 children.
WARNING!
Here is a pic of a twin belly (not mine)and it is just a large:::

Again, she has lied so much, who knows the truth![]()
Thank goodness I had one and she was small. So, she's been receiving disability payments for an injury at work, yet she can carry a pregnancy like that. I just don't get it.
Sounds like her "publicist" is as wacky as she is. Oh, and how is she paying this 'publicist?' Funds from her site? The entire thing is absolutely ridiculous--and the economy has NOTHING to do with that.![]()

Has it occurred to any of you that she may not actually have a back problem...

Ahh... great minds think alike.

Not only is that a good point -- but it makes me wonder even more about the fertility doctor who implanted the embryos. Wouldn't the question of severe back issues be somewhere in the screening process -- and wouldn't that rule her out for having SIX embryos implanted??? I mean, really, that doctor dropped the ball. Even if she wanted it, he didn't have to do it. For so many, many legitimate reasons.
I think it's a shame that so many people have failed her and her children - from her parents to the doctors who allowed her to get IVF
While I think the whole thing is ridiculous and she should have never made it past the screening process and be a candidate for IVF, it is not uncommon for them to implant anywhere from 4-8 embryos HOPING that even ONE would implant. Looks like fertile Myrtle doesn't have an issue with her uterus and the fertilized eggs attaching, just the eggs actually reaching the uturus the "natural" way. It's also quite astonishing that 2 resulted in identical twins on top of the other 4 latching on. The babies may have totaled 19 pounds but don't forget all the fluid in addition to actual baby weight. Placenta, amniotic fluid, etc. she was carting around alot more weight than 20 poundsI think it's a shame that so many people have failed her and her children - from her parents to the doctors who allowed her to get IVF

I thought I heard somewhere that doctors won't implant more than 2-3 embryos in women under the age of 35. I don't claim to knowing anything about IVF, so someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty certain I heard that in an interview w/a fertility doctor. This woman fell in the under-35 category, which is why so many doctors were shocked at how many embryos were implanted. I guess six embryos is like 2x-3x the amount of embryos they will typically implant in someone in her age range.
I believe women under the age of 35 have a much higher success rate with IVF, which is why they implant fewer embryos. I read an article that says "fertility is a function of age and starts to decline around age 27."(Not to get anyone's biological clock ticking or anything!!!)
