This is really scary...

Any other twin moms out there that thought she would be WAY bigger?:rolleyes1

I am embarrassed to say, I looked like that and I only had two (albeit two HUGE) babies in there:rotfl:

:tiptoe:
Yeah- but she's only 3 months pregnant there... just kidding!!

I know she's a selfish nutcase, is that enough?
Actually, don't change your mind. Pregnancy is a beautiful thing. If it weren't for pregnancy, none of us would be here to discuss it.

It's her, I ain't so thrilled at.

I keep hearing this, but I don't totally get it. It seems like even if a person had a back injury, it wouldn't stop them from getting pregnant or carrying to full term. They'd probably be in a ton of pain, have trouble moving around, and have other problems, but they could still physically carry the babies, right?

Yes, you can physically get pregnant and carry the baby -- but it would be incredibly unwise to do so repeatedly if you have the kind of back issues this woman claimed to have in order to get her settlement money. Pregnancy will do nothing good for a bad back.

Of course if you looked up "bad decisions" in the dictionary, you would probably find this woman's picture.

:rotfl: I went full term. Ouch. It was hideous:scared: There are no other words.

I am a very pale person, so my skin did not hold up well. It looked as if somebody scribbled with red magic marker all over my gut.

Never again.

Sickening. I find the whole idea of mating and childbirth highly distasteful. There's got to be a better way.

LOL. Kari has the same idea about it. She doesn't understand why I would want to be pregnant in the first place.

She says it's from being adopted. Because when most kids learn about the birds and the bees, she didn't have to realize that her mom and dad ever did it because she was adopted. And that makes her happy.

Doh, misread your original post.

:crazy2:

S'ok:flower3: ..actually even though I think she is beyond words personally/mentally...her body does not look beautiful all stretched out like that...it makes me hurt, and I have been pregnant and stretched out twice. Only with one baby at a time..not a litter.. Why would she let anyone take her picture and post it out there?

lol, I guess I didn't finish my thought. I meant to say that I could see why a normal person with a severe back problem wouldn't continue to get pregnant, but we're not daling with a normal case here :lmao: ... seems like a pre-existing back problem, doctor's orders, or anything else wouldn't have detered her!!

I just meant that I don't understand why people are arguing that the fact that she had a bunch of them implies that she must NOT have a back problem. It seems to me that it doesn't really give us any information about whether she did or didn't have a back problem.

I agree that pregnancy is a beautiful thing, but what she did was completly unnatural, and irresponsible.

I was watching one of those Hollywood gossip shows where Nadya's publicist blamed the public's negative reaction to Nadya and the babies on the current state of the economy. She said that if the babies had been born 3 years ago, the public would have accepted and embraced them. Something else mentioned in this show is that Nadya wrote letters to Angelina Jolie at one point. :confused3 :confused3

:sad2: :sad2:

Not only is that a good point -- but it makes me wonder even more about the fertility doctor who implanted the embryos. Wouldn't the question of severe back issues be somewhere in the screening process -- and wouldn't that rule her out for having SIX embryos implanted??? I mean, really, that doctor dropped the ball. Even if she wanted it, he didn't have to do it. For so many, many legitimate reasons.

ETA--It was painful and I had to sleep sitting up at the end. My back killed me. I don't know how somebody with health problems would choose to do that.

Well, if the weights on Wikipedia are correct - and there's no reason to think otherwise - then the eight babies weighed a total of nineteen pounds at birth.

Sounds like her "publicist" is as wacky as she is. Oh, and how is she paying this 'publicist?' Funds from her site? The entire thing is absolutely ridiculous--and the economy has NOTHING to do with that.

Does it say how far along she was in that picture? All I can think of is that Jon and Kate special when she was pregnant. Kate was WAYYY bigger than that.

I heard a kind of funny joke about this last night. A comedian asked if she was paying her publicist in food stamps.

But seriously, I'm sure the publicist had big-dollar signs in his/her eyes when they heard the word "octuplets." I'm sure the publicist expected a huge payday.

But do you know the story behind this woman?

If you do, you may want to change your mind.

The story behind this woman: She got artifical insemenation to put her life through hell and have 8 kids in her womb. This was all obviously to get famous, and to get an attention. Plus, the endless donations people are giving her probably help. She probably will put some of the kids up for adoption, or she won't pay attention to them.

Yeah. I have MAJOR respect for her.

8 days before giving birth to her litter.
