What week would be LEAST crowded and why do you say this?

Last week in June. (like the 20th on) OR
the week AFTER 4th of July weekend (starting with 5th July and staying 10 days) OR
The last week in August (not the week before Labor day, the week before that)'
Im thinking Summer 2005.

I would say the least crowded time would be the last week in August. A lot of schools have started back by then, especially in the southern states.

I agree with the August week, but...I don't think it will be much less crowded. Anybody been that week?

If you could go after Labor Day in September it would be a BIG difference.

Yeah, Ive always gone in Sept, Oct, Between T-giving and Xmas and in Jan but I just started a job at the local elementary school so I have to stay on the school vacation schedule. Sigh. I was thinking 10-12 days in the summer, (and of course Id have to get an annual pass for that) then going back for NJ teachers week and again over spring break. Then I could go the week school gets out in June .....If by then I had enough frequent flier miles, I could go again before they expire in August of the next year. grin. I mean if Im going to have to go at the more crowded times, Im going to have to go more often. grin.

We've gone the second to the last week in August and the crowds seem to be doable to me. I think if people are not back in school, they are getting thier kids ready for school. That's what I always thought anyway.
