This is doable, right?

Our flight is supposed to take off at 11:30 AM and we're supposed to get to MCO at 2 PM. My husband, kids, and myself are renting a car, however, the other people in our party (5 total) will be taking ME. We have a 6:35 ADR at 50s Prime Time. I'm just now getting concerned we won't make it. Is 4 and a half hours (roughly) enough time? Thanks!

Unless your flight is delayed, you shouldn't have any problem. I suspect the car rental people will get to the resort first. If you can check in for everyone, that will save some time as the rest can go straight to their room and freshen up a bit. Just remember ME people won't have their luggage yet (assuming you are getting yours prior to car) and will need to have everything they need for that evening in their carry-ons.

Speaking of luggage, if either you or DH can go get the car while the other waits on the luggage, that will also save you a few minutes.

As long as your plane isn't delayed :/ Our last trip our plane was delayed 5 hours... We had to skip our arrival evening plans at AK!
But.... With that being said I still have an ADR planned for arrival day our next trip! Lol! It's just not something is be so sad about if we had to miss it (other than the 10$ no show fee)

As PPs said, it should be OK as long as everything is on time..flight lands on time, no long lines or waits for luggage and rental car or ME. If all goes relatively as it should you should be able to make it. I would definitely make sure to do online resort check in as it should make things go faster when you check in at resort.

The only other caveat is what resort are you staying at? I am assuming, even though some are driving, all of you need to go to the resort first to get park tickets and whatever else to begin trip. So the next question of time will be how long does it take to get from resort to DHS. The fact that you have a car will help, what about the other group? If you all can't fit in your rental car then they would have to take Disney transportation or cab to DHS - Disney's standard line is to allow 90 minutes travel time if taking Disney transportation. Of course a cab would be faster.

You should be fine, but make sure you have your dining reservation # and Disney's dining phone # on hand just in case you run late at airport...this way you can call to let them know and maybe they can move you to a later time or if you need to cancel you won't be charged the $10 per person fee.
