This is bad isn't it?

DH and I are supposed to leave tonight for WDW and I have been sick for three days. I am still hoping for a miraculous recovery but I do not know at this point.

Let me just make sure that I am correct on how bad our point scenario will be. . .we would lose tonight's points (cancelling the same day) and then our other two nights' points would go into holding to be used by the end of the UY (which is Dec.) Since we live in Ohio and are teachers, I know we will not be able to return by next weekend to use them. Is this correct or would we already lose tomorrow's point too?

If you cancel, you will lose all the points it took to make the reservation not just the first night.

Same day cancellations result in a forfeiture of points. You are in a Use or Lose situation.

From the Member Site:

Cancelling a reservation on the check-in date:
All the Vacation Points used to make the reservation will be forfeited.


I would make a miraculous recovery and go

Thanks for the feedback. The scenario is even worse that I thought.

Well, my daughter came home from college early to pack for me. I am going to just have to drag through the airport and hope I feel better by tomorrow when we hit the parks. . .slowly, of course.
