My family consists of four, but we were considering taking our soon to be 11 y/o nephew along in June. This would mean 3 children in our room.

We are staying at Polynesian in concierge--does the presence of the third child increase the cost of the room? I realize there is a third person charge for an adult, but for some reason I was thinking that did not apply to a child. We took my sister and this same nephew with us way back in the mid 90s--he was then 2 and we paid for the third adult and he was "free" for parks, food, etc. We really want to bring him along, but cost is a factor for his parents.

Can anyone help with this fairly basic question?

no, children do not pay an additional rate in the same room with you.

So 2 adults and 3 children would be the same price you are paying now.

That's exactly what I thought, but I wanted to verify it for my own piece of mind. When you only travel with four, that fifth person thing is beyond my area of experience.
