BE CAREFUL WHEN RESPONDING TO EMAIL!
Tonight I received an email from US Bank that I had been randomly chosen for internet banking account verification, and that I needed to check my account and verify that all the information was correct. It gave me a link to go to and instructions on what to do.
The only problem is... I don't have an account with US Bank!!!!
I know there have been fake emails trying to get your accounts/passwords/credit card information. I've seen emails from Ebay, Paypal, FTD Flowers, Bank of America, etc.
Please be careful when responding to these emails. Remember that your bank or any legitimate company will not ask you for your account number/password over email. DON'T GIVE YOUR PRIVATE INFORMATION!
OK, that's my PSA for today. Thank you for your time.
