Hi Stephanie!! Ally went back to school on Tuesday. The roads were much better by then. We had rain yesterday and that washed away any snow that we still had. It was pretty while it lasted!!

Hey girl! Finally got caught up. The storm that went through last week knocked out the power to the whole town. We still don't have power at our house but my mom does so we're bunking at her house.

The power company said that some of the outlying areas won't get power for 3-4 weeks. Hopefully they mean farther out than us! Till then we're bunking with mom.

Hi Becky! My new fellow 'Bama-Disney fan!

Your girls are beautiful! It's so funny because my DH is a huge Star Wars fan too. While eating at Teppan Edo last year we got to see the little person that played the main Ewok (I'm sure they both have names but I'm clueless ). It was the highlight of the trip for DH.

I read your PTR and TR from your last trip and we were at WDW the same time as you with all that rain. It was fun to see your take on that lovely weather we had. Florida weather is so weird because we went in 2008 at the same time and it was hot (80's and 90's everyday). Guess you can never tell. I hope your trip this May is not as wet as last year. We are going in October instead so we can do MNSSHP.

Your daughters are adorable BTW! And I can't wait to read more about your plans.

Hi and Holly!! I'm glad you're joining in!! You were there that same week last May--I'm soooo sorry!! Wasn't it insane?! I'm hoping this year the weather is MUCH better! I bet October will be wonderful!! We want to go for Halloween probably in 2011!!

Hey Dana!!! We are having a great weekend--busy--but great!! Today we had church choir practice, took the girls to the Perfect Princess Party at the Disney Store, went back to church for a birthday party, and then had to run errands!! Our Sunday School Class is having a Super Bowl Party tomorrow night--can't wait!!!

Today I took the girls to the Perfect Princess Party at the Disney Store!! It was supposed to be last Saturday but due to the snow they rescheduled it!

As we arrived the CMs gave the girls their crowns

the girls colored as others were arriving

The CMs explained to the girls that they would be learning several princess tasks (learning to curtsy, wave like a princess, good posture, and sipping tea with your pinky finger raised). As the girls learned and executed their tasks, they would earn a new jewel for their crown!

First up was learning to curtsy!

Ally only has 1 jewel left to earn!

The girls lined up to earn their last jewel--each princess walked down the runway and showed everyone what they learned!

The girls had a BLAST at this party!! And the Disney Store did an excellent job with this event! It kept the girl's attention and kept them involved! (it lasted 45 minutes) On our way out a CM told me that the Disney Store would be having a lot of events like this throughout the year! We will definitely be participating!

Disney Stores in the UK are also doing this, as Princess & the Frog just came out this weekend.. I think it's a lovely idea!
