This CM made me sooo MAD!

I certainly respect rules but I respect good customer service too. There was no need for Kyle to be outright rude. He could have started with "I'm sorry, but..." or "Our policy is..." but that wasn't the case. I thought DW promoted good customer service, and if my husband insisted TWICE that he had a 4 year old, I would like to think the right action for a CM at DW would be to take him for his word. I don't know how many people have the nerve to stand around arguing a lie.

The fact that Kyle went one step further by saying "I don't think he's tall enough anyway" and making us measure our DS4 a third time then allowing ONLY him to take the FP feels to me like giving the knife a good twist. I missed the CM rule that said "wield your FP distribution power to insult guests and make them feel like liars and thieves." What about that old policy "the customer is always right?" It was one FP not 4 and it should have been easily and kindly resolved.

The fact that uncanny guests might be waiting outside the exit of a ride for it to break down so they can run in and receive a FP is unrealistic. I don't know how many people have extra time and energy at DW so they can sneak ONE FP out of a CM. If there is someone out there willing to exhume such time and energy, then give it to them. They worked hard to get it.

As I also said, Kyle looked as unhappy Wednesday as he did when we dealt with him on Monday. Bad day, bad week or just plain bad?

WHAT WOULD WALT THINK?

I totally agree with you. As a former CM, I know I would have never treated a guest in that way, and had anyone in management witnessed his rude behavior, you can bet that he would be in trouble.

My opinion is that Kyle is probably on the lowest rung of the ladder (as far as Disney positions go) and handing out fast passes is the only "power" he has. Therefore, he was on a power trip about who exactly got a fast pass and who didn't.
