Thirteen years ago tonight...

My DW and I were in the hospital watching Heart Break Ridge waiting for the patosin(sp?) to kick in and start the labor. She was several weeeks over due and the baby was an unstable lie. At aprox 2pm on the 25th of Jan, 1993 we became parents to a little boy. Thirteen years later I am proud of the young man he has become. He is a caring good hearted soul the stays on the honor roll and stays out of trouble for the most part. He will be a Black Belt in June and was a Captain on his school Soccer team. He has a very strong sense of right and wrong/fair and unfair, and will stand up for the little guy in a heart beat if needed. It seems like just yesterday I was slapping a clean butt wrapper on him and know I can almost look him straight in the eyes. Boy how time flies.


I am one very very lucky Dad.
