Thinking of upgrading... Which Resort?

We've got a 10 night free dining plan pkg in Sept with 3 extra nights, all at CBR. I'm thinking those 3 extra nights would be a great opportunity to try a deluxe. We'll have most of our park-going out of the way by then, and we're planning on park-hopping to hit highlights, maybe doing a water park or DTD, or just hanging around the resort those last days.

Got dh who loves luxury, ds 9 and ds 11 who love to swim, and dd 2 and me, who will both need some R & R by then.

I'm leaning toward Grand Floridian, Poly, Beach Club, or possibly AKL Savannah View. I know it will be dependent upon what's available with AAA discount (if any are), but assuming I have some choice...

Which would you choose and why?

I would go to the yacht or beach club. especially with the older 2 who love to swim, I don't think you can beat SAB.

I agree, yc or bc. Yes for the pool, but also for the nearby dining and activity choices.

I love the Wilderness Lodge, which I feel is almsot an attraction unto itself. The rooms, pool, and entire ambiance are outstanding.

I agree, I think the WL looks just gorgeous, but since we live in the Pacific Northwest, I'm looking for something a bit more... I don't know... warm, beachy, tropical... ya know, different than what we see all the time!

Well, it sounds like a lagoon-view room at the Polynesian might be just what you're looking for! Great resort, prime location (monorail, fireworks from the beach, Electrical Water Pageant, ferries, watercraft, great restaurants, etc.)

I think you're right! I'll look into the Polynesian.
Thanks Lou! :earsboy:

Comments on the Poly anyone???
