Thinking of switching from ASM to moderate to avoid bus lines?

Are line breakers at mods a big problem?

After 4 stays at CBR, 2 at POR, and 1 at POFQ we have never experienced this phenomenon.

I've stayed at moderate resorts many times, and have never had any problems with people pushing and shoving to get on to a park bus.

Btw, there are not lines at moderate or deluxe bus stops. Some people do stand by where the bus usually stops, but there is no line for each park. Most people kind of mill around, or actually sit on the benches, relaxing. A strange concept, I know!;) Even so, I have never been shoved aside and ended up missing the bus that I needed. The vast majority of people are just not that rude.

OK, I never thought about this or realized mods don't have the queuing system. I loved the "line" at Pop Century bus stop, no worries about people breaking line. I assumed the mods were the same, except covered! :worried: We are staying at POR in a few months. Are line breakers at mods a big problem?

Here is my thoughts on this. First; I do wish they had a covered roped off queue but as of now they do not. When we go to the Mod/Deluxe bus stops, I look at it as you can sit on the benches to be more comfortable or you can stand by the loading area to be already in line. If we get there and there is just a few people we will sit on the bench and relax. But if I start to see more people coming I will get up and stand by the loading area. If other folks that were there before me also gets up, I will ask if they want to get in front of me. BUT; if the people choose to stay seated on the benches until the bus comes then oh well. I do admit there just are some inconsiderate people that try to rush ahead of people. So far I think the monorail folks have been the worse as far as barging there way onto the car.

I agree. I prefer the mods for the bus system, because it is a much more relaxed experience, generally speaking. I also love the covered areas. Value resorts during the summer...waiting for a bus....not a generally fun experience.

The longest waits for buses we have encountered were at the Beach Club & Port Orleans Riverside. The quickest was at Art of Animation. :goodvibes

We loved the bus at AoA, too! Covered, organized line, 1 stop and no sharing with other resorts. If I was choosing solely based on busses, AoA is an easy winner.:thumbsup2

Thanks for the replies!! I think for now we will stay at ASM. If bus lines become a problem we will take a cab. I don't mind spending for cab fare if need be. I looked into a rental car, and will cost over $300 for our stay, so that is out. Hopefully the bus will be fine! BTW we are staying at All star Movies, not music! Will be there July 26th-Aug1st, and then off on Disney Dream for a 3 day cruise! I am literally dying of excitement!
