I am going to disney for 6 days in September/october. I have a 6 yr old and a 3 yr old. Neither of my boys use the stroller however I do take it when we go to the local water park to put stuff on and have my little guy it so I know where he is. I am sure my 6 yr old would not mind going for a ride when he gets tired either. Would you rent it? I can just bring my Mclaren techno for my little guy. My oldest is 50lbs and my little guy is 35lbs ANy help would be great

When we took ds's that age we did a double stroller.... a bit differently though. I bought one here at home and took it along, that way we could sell it when we were done. Of course if you are flying that my not be an option! :upsidedow We made out well, bought one for $85 and sold it for $95!

It can depend on how you do the parks too. For us we split up since the age difference meant the boys wanted to do different things. DH took DS6 and I had DS 3 and really we didn't need the double stroller anyway, the other side just ended up holding my bag...

Don't know if I helped ya but this is how it went for us :goodvibes

It depends on your family. I have a friend that has a 3-year-old and a 7-year-old. She gets the double stroller and they both ride. I know that mine will want to ride when they get tired, but I still haven't decided if we will do a stroller in Nov. We are only doing MK for one day, but it is after a 4-day cruise, and one day at the resort pool!

I have a 4.5yr old and a baby and we bring the Sit-n-stand when we go to the local amusement park or the zoo. I will be bringing it to WDW and also bringing an smaller/lighter umbrella type stroller for just going to the pool or to resorts for dinner.
I like to have my kids all in one place and older DS is not a very good hand-holder or listener so having a seat for him is the best option when getting through a crowd. I know my DHs shoulders get tired from carrying him around!
