Thinking of buying resale timeshare...

this is not mind but others sites for determining if a timeshare is right for you.

with DVC I would put in current price (yes I know Feb 1 it goes up) 150 * $83 = 12450.

for the one who asked about downpayment. It will be 10% to 20% - your choice if you have good credit.

for the fees put in 597 (for the one that asks about property taxes put in $100 but subtract that from the 597)

On for the resort I would put in several choices so you can see the benefits.

I use summer season at POR $155, AKL $249, Polyn $369, SSR $299 (studio) - the other are all standard rooms - taxes are 11.5%

in one case you are asked to do the room rate for a week - multiply the numbers * 1.115 (taxes) * 7.

now the problem both are done for a week stay - a week stay is not the best method for DVC - but that is these system require

150 points at SSR will get you 9 days most of the summer, June 1-10 - 10 days.

oh disney resales for more than its value. that say I would use $10,000 to $8,000 for the resale value. (I don't think it will go down in the next 10 to 20 years - but it might help some of you feel better)

but you need to use 7 days. So these are an estimate at best.

I am still working on my program. It don't be as fancy as these are

One more thing - don't take the sales person word for room prices.

go see what they are charging now on different websites.

I am so mad at myself for not checking Westgate - price discount for the general public.

don't make the same mistake that I did.
