Thinking of Bawb last night...

I know his birthday was a couple of weeks ago, and his passing anniversary will be here in a couple of months, so the timing was kind of scary.

We went to see "Wicked" here in Appleton last night, and I had never seen it. When the Podcast team put out that moving tribute to Bob with one of the Wicked songs, I would watch it every day to see Bob happy and alive. So that song would be forever linked to our "Bawb".... and then I saw Wicked last night.

And guess who wasn't prepared until they started singing THAT song... I was GONE!! Bawling like a baby, and telling my mom why I was so upset.

I just thought I would share that moment with my podcast friends and especially the team to let you know that even time has passed, Bawb will ALWAYS be remembered.

I've been thinking of Bawb alot lately too. I can't believe it's almost going to be a year soon.

I actually think of Bawb often and when I'm down I love listening to some of his most famous podcasts...they always make me laugh. Yes, Bawb won't ever be forgotten, his memory will always live on.

It's hard to believe that Bawb has been gone for close to a year.
I think of Bawb daily, I know that sounds pretty wierd, and I don't understand it myself but it happens. At least once a day something concerning/dealing with Bawb is in my thought processes. I don't understant it, but I appreciate that he impacted my life enough that it happens.
I am thankful that my husband and I were fortunate to meet him once.

Bob was really on my mind my last trip - in fact, I may have been channeling him - I fell asleep, sitting up, in 3 of the 4 parks... the sun was warm, it was after lunch each day, I was alone... it was great!

Just this weekend I was listening to an older podcast that had Bawb on it and I told my husband it's finally nice to be able to relisten to some of those and not cry. Of course reading your email and thinking of that song made me tear up and cry.

It is the DIS Unplugged podcast. Look at the apps at the top of the page and click on listen now. The last show that Bawb was on was 05/13/2009. The show was the DL show. He was on every show prior to that. He never missed a show. Okay now I have tears in my eyes.
