We already have a trip planned to Disney in June. I spoke with a DVC rep today who said if we purchased now, we would get both this years and next years points and would be able to stay at the Animal Kingdom Villa.
He quoted me a monthly fee of $230, and a deposit of $1700 and payments over ten years. Since he offered AK does that mean that would be my home resort? We would only go every two years, so that means if we went again in 2017, I could use the points from 2016 and 2017?
What if I need more points or want to go during Christmas/Halloween (a dream of my daughter and I). I have three kids age 12, 8, 4 and they would love a place with a pool and water activities.
Also, do you get discounted tickets to the parks? And can I still do the dining plan, or use some sort of discount meal option?
Suggestions, recommendations would be great. Wish I knew about it earlier, it be paid off by now!
