looking at Myrtle Beach (which airport do you fly into for MB) since it has allot activities (we don't just like to sit) any others beaches to check out?

We usually go to North Myrtle Beach every year and we've always loved it. This year DH wants to try a beach in florida or somewhere different, only he wants somewhere like myrtle beach. We love all that there is to do down there other than just sit on the beach. I'm having a hard time finding something like it.

Barefoot Landings and Broadway are our favorites down there. We love to go have dinner and walk around the shops and stuff in the evenings. It really is a great area.

Thank you...was just looking at places to stay...I will check out the two you mention!

You may also want to look at flying in Willmington, NC about an hour from North MB

Those two places are shopping areas with restaurants and night time entertainment and stuff.

There are so many places in North Myrtle Beach and the surrounding areas to stay. We've stayed at several different places. It depends on what your preferences are such as a smaller condo building or a larger high rise with a lazy river and such. The later is going to have a much busier beach area. We've done both and like both.

Our main things, would be a place that has kid activities and right on the beach.

Check out the Destin/SanDestin, FL area, it is really nice. We love the SanDestin Golf and Beach Resort and they have some great specials/packages, especially on their facebook page and it is very family friendly.

I would google ocean front resorts myrtle beach and you will get a ton of results. There are lots of them with lazy rivers and pools with kid areas.
