We like to bring 10 or so goodie bags filled with snack size candy and treats (snickers, m&m's...) for CM's on our cruise. We did this last time and we were cruising alaska so we were never really in the heat.

This time we are doing the Caribbean in July. I don't anticipate our luggage being out in the sun for long periods of time but between the airport and AKL, then between AKL and the port. Think chocolate will hold up?

I’m pretty sure that between being out in the July Florida heat between the plane and the baggage claim, under the DCL bus to AKL or for a couple of hours between the resort and being brought on the ship, you’ll have melted chocolate in your luggage.

Have always carried chocolate for cruise personnel in our suitcase with no problems. I put it in zip lock bags, buffer between clothes, and never had a problem melting or otherwise. Bon Voyage.

I think if you're not delayed anywhere and your luggage doesn't sit on a runway, you're probably fine.
