Think Disney After Hours will be extended into September?

My guess is if the expected crowds are as huge as predicted and Disney is making money on it then they will. Anyone else care to speculate?

I'm a bit annoyed Toy Story Land Extra Magic looks to be on hold during September, we will be travelling with a 3 year old and 10 month old so were hoping to do this to ease the chaos a little

I would bet $ they won’t have DHS DAH in Sept. (Someone bookmark this in case I have to eat crow later)

They had one MK DAH date in Sept last year, hard to say what they’ll do this year. Tougher month schedule-wise with so many parties, but there is precedent.

AKL DAH seems to be selling out pretty well. If Disney deems it an operational/financial success, I could see it in Sept.

I have all my fingers and toes crossed for an DAH in AK for September. I have left Tues and Wed evening with a big blank space in my commando planning calendar for our week there (9/8 - 9/15) banking that there will be after hours on a Tues or Wed as those are historically the AK nights. I even moved our Jiko reservations to 5:45 so that we can have a leisurely meal and then head over for AH. Now for just a little sprinkle of pixie dust for us September mouseketeers . . .

Yes. I think the onsite "benefit" of EMH will decrease and the paid events like EMM and DAH will increase.

EMH events may be good for small families but for a family with 4 kids it is not worth $700 for one night of entertainment. We love Disney but even Disney is not worth those expenses.

At least schedule them far enough in advance so when planning our vacation we can work around these extra charge events.

For MK, I think that September is in the heart of the Halloween parties, and they make more money on them than they do on DAH, so if they have any DAHs, it will be limited. Both cost about the same, but the party crowds can be larger because of all the other features of the event. Once DAH gets much bigger than it is, it loses much of its appeal.

For HS, Star Wars is going to rule everything for the next two or three years. I can't see any reason for WDW to offer reduced crowd events for the foreseeable future. Not saying they won't, but from a money standpoint it doesn't make a lot of sense. They could easily to a Star Wars themed party with 30,000 crowds, but it wouldn't make sense to do the kind of limiting thing DAH requires.

AK will probably have them. Epcot may, but more likely when the new rides open.
