No Roo or Kanga either :(

We have a Kanga and Roo from MGM - quite big ones too! We found Piglet was the hardest one to get hold of actually - we have Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, Owl, Rabbit, Kanga and Roo but no Piglet :(

You will never find enough diet drinks. Drinking diet coke all the time gets boring. Let's see some other diet drinks Disney!

No bills, bosses, criminals, wars, drugs, or (this month) Seattle Seahawks! :rotfl2:

Let's have some fun and see if we can make a list of "Things You Won't Find in Disney Theme Parks". If you think you have one but aren't sure, just say so with a question mark. I'll start us off with just a few.

chewing gum
mimes
baked potatoes? (a thread in the Restaurant forum only came up with Concourse Steakhouse as a place you could get them)

I never realized that there was no gum sold in the Theme Parks. It certainly makes sense though. This is a great idea for a thread. :goodvibes

No Roo or Kanga either :(

We got Kanga (& Roo in her pouch) at the toy shop in the England section of Epcot's World Showcase last April.

How about Snow White merchandise? Other than the Barbie doll or Polly Pocket we couldn't find anything much with just Snow White! They had cute little stuffed dolls of most of the princesses except SW. And they had the bed pillows for princesses except SW! Where is our SW stuff!!!! My DD3 is obsessed with her and I was looking for things for her room. You can find her combined with other princesses but very hard to find alone!

You should try Tinkerbell's Treasures in MK.

you will not find any cheap-traditional amusement park style rides such as merry-go-rounds (WDW only has carousels... lol. seriously there actually is a difference) or garish farris wheels (unless you go to DCA..... although they handled their wheel decently I suppose)

They do have that cheap amusement park section at DAK. DinoLand it might be called. It's awful!

Unforunately this is not the case. I have been confronted in PI to both buy and sell drugs on different occasions. :guilty:

No dice.....years ago when our kids were little, we brought along a kids game but forgot the dice, so I tried to buy a set at the store in the Contemporary. A very nice foreign man behind the counter said "Oh, no, no, NO!!! No dice on Disney property!!!! Gambling!!!! Meanwhile, I could buy all the little liquor bottles that my heart desired, so must be that gambling is a big NO, but drinking is just fine. :confused3

Dr. Pepper is a Pepsi product? Or is it one of those ones that changes around? I
work at a restaurant and we pay the RC company to have Dr. Pepper on our fountain. (because we have coke products traditionally.)

Dr. Pepper is produced by Dr. Pepper Bottling Company. The original plant is in Dublin, TX. In Texas and some surrounding areas, it is actually distributed by Dr. Pepper as well. However, throughout the rest of the country, they have deals with other bottling companies who distribute their product. That's why you can often find DP at places where Pepsi is served, as well as where Coke is served, just unfortunately not at Disney. That's okay, because something I haven't seen at WDW is a restaurant/drink machine that doesn't serve Orange Fanta. I need my Fanta Fix!

There are no more baked potatoes in frontierland? They were there in January and I was gonna get one but I didn't :confused3 Is the stand still there? With the pickles and fruit?

I have an AMEN and a 2nd to that No cheap batteries in DW...LOL!
C'mon...seriously...$17-19 for a pack of batteries??? DH about fell over and died.
I expect for my souveniers and stuff to be overpriced..but that is absurd for batteries.

Can't buy smokes/tobacco...and no lighters or matches anywhere.

But..I love my trips to DW, just plan around the outrageous battery prices...LOL!!

Great thread btw!
