Things you "Might" not know

Is the thing about the Cinderella statue looking like she has a crown on her head from kids vantage point true? Does anyone have a photo?

Also- do fur characters really not high-five adults?

It is true if you kneel down to take the picture it looks like the crown painted on the wall is on her head. The stuff about the characters seems to all be false. I was "friends" with buzz light year for several years and never once fell on the ground because Andy was coming. I also don't remember anything about not being able to high five adults. I was taught not to make a peace sign or take pictures with anyone holding an adult beverage. :drinking1

I think the Andy thing popped up fairly recently and was killed quickly. Also wasn't it more of a Woodie Jessie thing.

Oddly i googled it and the same one pic popped up shared everywhere

Adult beverage makes sense- but why no peace signs?
I can't imagine they'd make Buzz fall for "Andy's Coming". It seems like it would be ridiculously hard to get up again. (Though I've heard that was a one time "pixie dust" sort of thing. The characters would be on the ground all day if they had to do that every time a guest said it!)

Thanks siskaren for linking the photo!

The no peace signs were because it means something offensive in other countries, like the middle finger here if I remember correctly:scared1: It is similar to the rule of the two finger point that CMs do since pointing with one is insulting in some cultures.

We saw Jessie and Woody by Splash Mountain - my son's name is Andy and when I said "this little boy is Andy" both Jessie and Woody went right down to the ground. My poor son - he had no idea what was going on. This was in either 2011 or 2012...

Yea it depends on if your palm is in or out.

That "treasured guest" one is a myth. And quite insulting. As if we would have code words for unpleasant guests.

Never heard this one either. But I do know that Disney CM's do (or did) call suspicious guests (shoplifters) "customers". I used to be a Disney Store manager.
