Okay I would love to hear from ya'll about things you decided against doing/seeing for whatever reason (time, money, etc) and then could have just kicked yourself later.
Or, on the flip side, things you did that you really wish you had not. It could be a show that was a waste of time, restaurant that wasn't as good as everyone said, a resort that you hated, whatever.
I can't wait to hear the stories..... it might save someone else from making the same mistake! :teeth:

Didn't do RRC or TOT at MGM or Soarin' because of time issues. Couldn't ride Test Track at Epcot because of rain. I also got some misinformation about "Wishes" and was told it was Halloween themed from now until Halloween, so we skipped it, only to find out there were REGULAR "Wishes' too. That is my MAIN regret and I'm kinda mad about it!

Not exactly what you asked, but we waited until our last ride on our last day to do Soarin' and wish we would have done it sooner and many more times!!! I could skip Country Bears everytime, but DH likes it.

We didn't eat at the Brown Derby until the last night of this last trip... I was always put off by the menu and the prices.
Turns out we LOVED it. We had a great waiter (I wish I could remember his name, but he's from Louisiana and reminded me of a young Elvis. Not the sideburns, just the way he spoke.)
I would've eaten at the Brown Derby before now had I known how much I would've enjoyed it.

I still regret never eating in the castle. I want to every trip. Only problem is LTT is the favorite among our group. We usually only do 1 day per park (DH doesn't like to hop). So on our MK day we always end up eating at LTT.

We couldn't have done anything about this but MGM was our last day's park and Fantasmic got rained out. Because it was our last thing to see, it made our trip's finale a fizzle. :worried:

I think it would probably be eating in the castle. I have two sons and they are not into the Princess thing. I would also like to do tea at the GF. My sister dragged her husband there this past Aug but she didn't think to ask me. She said next time she would.

I regret going in the summer months. After two times now, I think I have learned that it is just not the right time of year for my family. I will take them out of school or go during a school holiday.

Never will go on Stitch again !

Regret Not spending more time in the AK, this park has such detail, and so much to see even if it doesn't have a lot of thrill rides.

Not trying all the resorts, even if the Poly is my absolute favorite.

Doing resturants more than once, when I have not tried them all.

I DO NOT regret being a Disney nut, no matter what people say or think.
:goodvibes

I know this is kind of strange but I regret that we've never done the hall of Pres. at MK & the show at the American pavilion in Epcot. It turns out that my little 7yo is a history buff. Who knew? She just loves looking stuff up about presidents and reading books about real people. She's been to MK twice and was really put out with me when she found out we'd skipped a show about the Presidents!! Guess I know where I'll take my nap one day on our next trip! :rolleyes1

Not being able to ride the Rock and Roll Roller Coaster this November. I was injured in a wreck and physically will not be able to do this because of substained injuires. It is breaking my heart but I am still going to have fun!!!! Don't miss this ride!!!!!

First, just want to make a comment on CRT. We went this past May w/ dd2.5 and ds5.5. DS was NOT looking forward to this at first....THEN I suggested he could ask the princesses all about the villains they faced. Oh BOY was he into it. And the princesses were great in responding to him.

Now, things I've regretted.

Trying Wilderness Lodge last trip! We truly LOVED ASMO...but after WL...I'm not sure we can go back! :rotfl:

Going in May. It was just too hot for our family. We had to take many more breaks to keep everyone hydrated and happy. It was very tiring. I think I love OCT or earlier in April the best. Of course we've lucked out in the past w/ very little rain.

not bringing the kids to Epcot sooner. I figured it was too adult. Wrong. There is plenty to hold their attention and grab their interest. And it will only get more so as they grow older! :goodvibes We are actually planning 2 days in Epcot for Dec!

Eating ANYWHERE else in AK instead of Flametree BBQ. I felt we should branch out and try other places....best to stick w/ a good thing!

We've never eaten at LTT. I build in a PS on each trip for here....and something ALWAYS ends up changing our schedule and I need to cancel this ressie! This trip I have a 4:30 on the night we're seeing MVMCP. I can just see the naps will take longer than we anticipate and we won't make it again! :rotfl2:

Hmm, seems like my regrets are mostly around food. I'm sure there are others...but these stand out. I imagine in Dec I'm going to add I'm sorry I waited so long to visit MK during the holidays as it will be absolutely MAGICAL!

OH yes! Every trip I try to end w/ something neat like that. and it is SUCH a bummer to be rained out. Especially if it is a show you haven't seen before.

Hmmm, I wish that I could go to a few more restaurants (I say this everytime) and that I could have seen Osbourne Lights but I was too busy eating at Deluxe Resort restaurants.

I would not have wasted my time on the Beauty & the Beast show or the Indy show due to the horrific acting.

never trying to sit in the front of the monorail, even though before every trip I say to myself I will try.

never seeing fantasmic...never made it back to MGM to catch it last time I was there. I am going back starting 11/5 and I have the fantasmic dinner package booked for 11/7 :cool1:

I've never ridden RnR or ToT because of time/family constraints, this time I am PG and can't.

Haven't managed to get my two boys into the barbershop for haircuts. The line is always so darn long. We'll try again in December.

I wouldn't do the hula show - whatever it is called - at the Poly again. Big waste.

I'm sure there is more but that is off the top of my head.

Dinner at HDDR and the water parks. Hopefully there in Feb.06 or 07

My regret? Getting up too early the first day!! :sad2:
We had heard "get up early, go to the parks, then go back to the hotel to nap & swim... then go back to the parks for the evening and fireworks." Probably works great for some families... not for ours. We were all just grumpy & tired! And when afternoon came we had a boy that did not want to leave the park... and certainly did not want to nap (even though he needed it)!
We tried to nap... he wouldn't fall asleep, so of course we couldn't. So we got up and went back to the park, but we were exhausted and it wasn't the day it could have been.
The next day we slept in, until we were done, had a nice breakfast and THEN went to the park for the whole day. This was SOOooo much better! Afterwards we decided the early/nap/late would be great in the summer when you would be missing the heat of the day... but we were there in December!

As for actually missing stuff in the parks... I regreted thinking we could see Epcot in one day because it worked for the other parks... and then saving it for the last day so we couldn't go back.
Well, we did go back... but not until our next trip.

The other was letting my motion sensitive DH wait until we got to Disney to try out the 'miracle motion sickness pill' someone at work had recommended. The day he took it he was totally wiped out! Couldn't keep his eyes open!! It was terrible.

spending more time at ak..shouldn't have listened to all the it's a1/2 day stuff we spent a day and 1/2 and would have liked another 1/2 day.

would never go to Ohana again( not so good food, bad service or sci fi again ( bad all around) and probably not Boma for brkfst...just not worth the money to us
