Ft Wilderness can fill an entire day up in no time at all. Most the campers there spend 1/2 their time at the resort and the other half in the parks. It's very laid back and comfortable.
Now I'm not sure when they're going to be moving Tri-Circle-D ranch and all that, but your little ones can do pony rides back there, as well as see all the horses that pull the trolleys on main street. As well as the carriage rides around the Fort and Port Orleans.
Wilderness Lodge has a great fireplace in the main lobby. As you go up each flight, there's different fossils to be found in the stone. They do a train talk in the DVC lobby one saturday a month, I think. But they also do a small history tour with one of the Rangers in the morning, 9 or 10am.
I love eating at Beaches and Cream. And the resort in general. You can also rent surrey bikes at the Boardwalk and take a long ride around the Epcot Resorts.
Watching the fireworks from the Poly is great too, especially on holidays, with the 360 fireworks. And you can get self serve dole whip ice cream at the food court.
My suggestion is to find a hidden mickey book and go on the hunt. It's the easiest way to explore a resort and have something to do.
