We are leaving for our first trip to Hilton Head on Sat, Jun. 19. Our son is 11 and we wanted to know what there is for him and us to do. Any great places to eat, not too far. Is there a kids club there for DS to go for an evening? Any other suggestions would be appreciated.:D :Pinkbounc :wave2:
Thank you:rolleyes:

They had 2 kids nights out while I was there for 5-12 year olds. $20 for members. One was Disney detectives-they do something around the resort-detective like, i suppose;) and have dinner, and theother evening they went to the movies and had dinner.
There's also things for adults and kids together like dolphin cruises, kayaking, beach nature walks, marsh walks etc.

Don't forget the pool table in Big Murgie's Den! When we were there a few months ago, there were 2 brothers about that age who lived on that pool table. Periodically Mom would drag them away for something, but they always came back as quickly as they could. And if anyone was using the pool table, they'd hover and stare until the people gave it up, then they'd play, literally for hours. Having had 2 boys myself, I remember that for some reason, pool tables held that appeal for them too.
BTW, I noticed a pool table at SSR. I laughed to myself and wondered how many young boys would try to spend their entire Disney vacation playing pool.

I highly suggest kayacking, crabbing, kids night out. Marsh adventures is neat too...

They sell boogie boards (I think that is what they are called) all over the island. Get one and spend the day at the beach.

So much to do.... so little time...

We went to both Harbortown and SOuth Beach and thought South Beach was more interesting. More boats.....

The options are as endless as the wallet allows...
