Wow, I can't believe it's been four years since I was last here on the DISboards. Glad to see my login still works, and folks are still sharing great tips!
On our last trip to Disneyland in 2006, we did the Fantasmic Dessert, which I called 30 days ahead for and reserved our table. What a special treat that was! I'm so glad we paid the extra for it (that was when you could sit up on the balcony).
This year, Fantasmic is out due to the river repair. However, I was wondering if there are any other similar special events, seating arrangements, etc. that can be reserved in advance for that "special" feeling like we got with the Fantasmic dessert experience. So far, I haven't found anything on the official Disneyland web site.
[Edit] Oh yeah...we're staying at the Disneyland Hotel...upper level pool or park view. So, any tips on whether we can/should call to make any special room requests would be much appreciated, too. I might just call them anyway to see if there are any specifics we can request, like park vs. pool view, or to get a mini fridge, etc.
