Things that gross you out in WDW!

When standing in line, and the person behind you starts coughing without covering their mouth, and you actually feel the air (germs) from their mouth on the back of your head. Yuck! Just want to run back to the hotel and take another shower.

If a young child asks "hey, what is that lady doing?" you simply say "feeding a baby." It's not like seeing a couple having s*x in public. That is the whole problem, people (mostly men) see it was somthing s*xual and it isn't. It's not like seeing an ADULT hanging on someone's chest!
I must admit, I am not hot in the least, just a regular mom who loves her kids and did what was best in feeding them (and they are all healthy and smart BIG kids now BTW!) And, I had my last at 35, not too many 40 somethings are feeding tiny babies.

Well the first part of my post was a joke (I mentioned that in the post), so please don't think I was specifically targetting you. Unfortunately, you know how kids are, they don't just ask, they point at the semi naked feeding mom and yell out loud, "look dad, that lady is showing her ****ies". The event usually goes downhill from there as everyone around turns to look at the lady, then the kid who yelled it out, then the lady again (who by now is turning red as her husband comes over to give me a peice of his mind).

And like I said in a previous post, I have no problem with nursing under a burp blanket, or cover of some type and completely understand the need. A simple cover is all I ask for. 90% of the women I have seen use some type of cover and there were no horrible after-affects (for either myself or the nursing woman).

From the other side of the equation, there are a lot of pervs out there, do you really want to show off everything God gave you to the losers of the world? Yes you are feeding another human being, but the drunk frat guy next to you in line is mentally groping you.

I am not a fan of breastfeeding in public either. It doesn't really gross me out, more so than it makes me feel uncomfortable, no matter how 'natural' it is. Almost like I'm intruding just for being near. Just like it's your right to smoke, let your kid run around in the fountains with saggy diapers and participate in excessive PDAs where ever you feel like it...but I don't like seeing those things either.

That being said, do I lose sleep over any of those things when I see them or get dristraught? Nope, not at all. I'm sure I do things too that other people don't like. I'll admit, I frequently ditch my shoes if I have the chance (especially on Soarin) and I eat the turkey legs too. If I expected people in public to only behave the way I saw fit everytime I walked out the door, then I may as well never leave home. :sad2:

nevah gonna happen. Don't like it? Don't go near the smoking areas

I wish not going near the smoking areas was the solution. When we were there a few months ago as soon as it got dark, people all over Epcot were smoking in non-smoking areas. Some were not even trying to hide it and just walking through World Showcase smoking away! I have gone nearly every year since the late 90's and this year was by far the worst of smokers not staying in the smoking areas. :headache:

then you get it:thumbsup2 it's the people who wan't us all to have sneek peek at their midsection that bother me. I'm a guy, so i'm not exactly gonna wear hip or belly exposing clothing:scared1: and i definitely am not skinny.

i just don't like viewing other peoples cottage cheese figure

Especially when they have to sit on the ground or bend over and more stuff starts to show! Yuk.

With all the complaints about other people...I gotta ask....I am the only one that secretly laughs on the inside about how ridiculous some people look or act at Disney.:confused3
I admit, it's funny to look at some people and how absurd they are acting or looking.
I just keep on walking, laugh, then say to myself, I'm sure someone else is thinking the same about me...oh well. :rotfl:

I really can't recall one time in my entire life that I have seen a TOPLESS woman, totally exposed, breastfeeding anywhere. Never, ever seen it.
HOWEVER, if a basically topless hot chick in a micro bikini top is walking around the parks or a pool no man would object to that! That is what bugs me about the whole issue. Porn is great, by most American standards, but breastfeeding is yukky:confused3

I saw a women this past April in animal kingdom with her entire breast exposed feeding her baby whose little head did not coverhalf of her gigantic breast. I was not in the slightest bit grossed out or appalled just could not understand how she could not feel the slightest bit self conscious about it. I was a breastfeeding mom and I was very diligent about covering up and not exposing myself while feeding in public. As for your porn remark they are two totally different things and while I have no issue with adults viewing porn it has no place in public!

I think some women, like her, probably like drawing attention to themselves and use the law to their advantage. For the record, I have no problem with women breastfeeding in public or walking around topless, for that matter.

Actually it's the ones that have wayyy too much of it and flaunt it that makes me gag a little. I am not svelte but certainly not pooh-sized either, however I have a bit of a belly and I am not willing to show it to you. I hate looking at it myself :rotfl2:.

I couldn't agree more!! I feel the SAME way...:rotfl:

At the water parks one word sums it up for me....

:scared1: SPEEDO'S! :scared1:

When I went in '97 with a friend we spent a lot of time at the water parks and many of the guests were International visitors. We saw a lot of swimsuits that left little to the imagination, especially on men with beer bellies!

Most of the public swimming pools in France require males to wear speedos...no board shorts allowed.

oh yeah and the grossest thing that I ever had happen to me was on our last trip. I was on EE and I thought some idiot had spit while we were riding the coaster.... then I realized the guy in front of me wasn't spitting. He didn't feel to good and he made sure to share with the people behind him. Of course, when I realized what he was doing I started gagging.
I hadn't planned on riding Kali that day but my plans changed...I rode it....twice.

OH GAH... You basically lived my worst fear whenever I ride a roller coaster. I'm ridiculously phobic about people getting sick. :guilty:

(Sidebar: How does a person make it to adulthood without knowing whether they have motion sickness?)
