I fly about once a year and I'm wondering if the following can be taken on the plane in my carry on.

1. Crystal Light packets in the unopened package.
2. Medications (Tums, Advil and Alleve)
3. Hand santizer gel (in 1 oz. bottles).

Thanks.

your best bet is tsa.gov it a very easy web site do you have an i phone or i pod toouch. tsa came out with an app called my tsa it give you wait time for securty and if there and flight delay. and there a place to seacrch what you can bring. you just type what it is and it tell you if you can bring it carry on or if you have to check it or if you cant bring it all togther. all sound okay just be care full not to bring to much liquards with you through carry on if it more then a certain amount it tell you on the site they will make you throw it out. and dont bring any 20 oz bottles of soda they will make you finish it or throw it out.

Yes.

The sanatizer just has to go in your quart size bag of liquids. The Crystal Light and Advil are no issues.

Thanks for the info about the app for the iphone! I'm going to download it right now.

What if the Advil/Alleve are liquid gels? They are still sealed in the packages boxes. Should I just check that so it's not an issue?

Thanks!

Your welcome to tell you the truth they should be okay. As long as they in there container if it not sealed then it should be okay. Just put in a small zipplock bag with the seantizer they won't bother you.

when you down load the app search for tylenol for some reason they dont list advil or alleve but they have tyleno liquid but it say for regular tylenol pill you can carry it on i dont think they are going to stop and give you a hard time since is liquid gels.

It really doesn't matter if the Tylenol/Advil are pills or liquigels as prescription and over-the-counter medications are exempt from the 3-1-1 rules anyway.

So, as noted, everything on your list is OK for your carry-on bags. The hand sanitizer will have to go in a quart zip lock bag with any other liquids (in 3 oz. or smaller containers). Every ticketed passenger is allowed one bag.
