Things I just do not understand..

People who complain kids are acting like brats, and then act like brats, themselves.

Why we still need to produce paper clips.

I can't wrap my brain around that either. My ideal treat would be chocolate covered crispy bacon. Somebody needs to get right on that.

They sell that at a chocolatier here in Jax.

A couple years ago, for DS's scout function, I made vanilla cupcakes with candied bacon mixed in with a salted caramel buttercream, topped with chocolate covered bacon and a salted caramel drizzle. So rich, but they were amazing.

I say those words sometimes, and I'm almost 59.

We had matching T-shirts for our family Disneyworld trip. DD got them for everyone for Christmas. We liked them, and now when I wear mine at home I always remember our wonderful trip.

Things I don't understand:

Totally agree with that. There are some nasty ones that I just shake my head at and wonder why they say the things they do.

Even without an accident I can never understand why the same spots on the highways or interstates are backed up, you figure at some point people would have collectively figured out how to negotiate these tricky parts and avoid the slowdowns....

I used to navigate the intersection of 2 interstates daily & we would be at a crawl every time. I wouldn't vacate the far right lane as I was taking the next exit. So, I had to deal with people coming on the on ramp to my highway. EVERY morning, I'd leave a huge gap (100+ feet) in front of my car so people could merge on to the highway. 4 days out of 5, a car would pull alongside me & the driver would just keep looking over his or her left shoulder hoping I would move over a lane to let them in. I would go so far as to point to the big hole in front of my car - THERE'S YOUR SPOT! GO GET IN IT!!! Most days, they still couldn't figure it out. So, I would speed up slightly & let them merge behind me. Bottom line, people are stupid. A LOT of people are stupid.

Because "You're doomed and destined to live the rest of your life in a cardboard box under a bridge" takes too long to type.

I don't understand why breakfast menus always tout "country eggs" or "country gravy" or "country ham". . . why not "city eggs" or "suburban gravy" ???

Darn it, if I want ham that comes from a penthouse in Manhattan, I should be able to get it!!

Oh, I use paper clips a lot, too. I just never throw them away, so it seems like by now, we'd have all we need.

Hollywood had to evolve to account for the fact that we all had an effective means of defense prepared against the slow zombies as a result of all the 20th century movies. Slow zombies would just be a minor inconvenience to most of us.

In a couple decades, they'll need to take flight for us to consider it a scary topic for movies or TV shows.
