Things I definitely will NOT do on my next WDW trip...

I will not get irritated when people say, "You're going AGAIN?"

I will not cry when I pass the gates and Mickey says to me, "See ya real soon!"

I will take half the clothes and twice the money.

I will share most meals.

I will not eat at H&V.

I will not eat at the german pavilion.

We will not get up early to go to a character breakfast and we will certainly not attempt to eat more than two meals a day.

I will not travel with Family members, our last 6trips have been with someone other than DD, DH & Me....either DMom, DMIL, DSIL & KIDS, or DDad. I am ready for it to be just us.

I will not go to WDW in July or August

I will remember to take more pictures of our ENTIRE family -- even if I have to grab complete strangers to take our picture -- I will also be in more pictures with my kids--based on our last trip's pictures, you would never have known I was there! ;)

I will let my kids help me plan :teeth:

I WILL go on scary looking rides...I will...I think I will...I might.....I'll think about it.... :scared1:

I will buy things that I want when I see them :thumbsup2

I will pay attention when my kids are screaming to go back to the resort to swim...no matter what my husband says :listen:

I will understand that this will not be my last trip to disney (I HOPE) and if we miss something, we will see it next time ::yes::

I will enjoy the little things :wizard:

I will sit by the pool and do nothing for at least 3 house straight at some time during my vacation -- well, I won't be doing nothing, I will be drinking a tangaray and tonic and reading a totally worthless book while my DH chases the kids! :tilt:

I will NOT be the tour guide for my extended family

I will NOT waste money on the Brown Derby

I will NOT second guess the which parks/which days plan we have set up

I will NOT get worked up over the inaccessible playgrounds at AK and MGM-- ok, maybe I will a little...

I will NOT go on Stitch or Astro Orbiter

I will NOT leave a park with an unused FastPass--I will share the magic!

I will NOT leave WDW without a reservation for our next trip "home"--ever again!

:guilty: :confused3 :rolleyes1  I will no longer allow others to "partially" convince me that it is weird for a 58 year old, divorced male to go to WDW by himself. Not just once but for the past 5 consecutive years.

I don't drink or gamble or smoke...why can't I do this without people trying to make me feel guilty about it. Or worse yet, my finding myself making excuses to people as to why I go.

My DH is 40 and still loves to go to Disney as well as Hershey and local parks but I dont think he would have gone without me. I have kids so I use them as an excuse to go but I would easily go every year even if it was on my own! Here is the BIG reason why IMHO:
The minute you enter those gates you are a kid again. It truly is magic.
When we go to Disneyworld I am not a nurse,a mom,a PTA member,a volunteer, the keeper of all lost things,a wife , a cook, the housekeeper, the bill payer or any other of that stuff. I am just me again and can be silly and have fun! How often do we get to do that as adults? I dont think you should feel guilty. I bet they are just jealous or (gasp!) people who do not enjoy the magic ...and that would be sad ;)

I know what you mean about Stitch. I have NEVER gotten scared on any ride in the Magic Kingdom except that one. Plus it was just plain uncomfortable.

I will also never go to the parks with clothing that doesn't have pockets. There's nothing like the freedom of not worrying about a purse. I just put my keycard and ID in my pocket and I'm ready to go!

I will not go to a water park without those mesh water shoes. GOSH is that pavement HOT!!! :yay:
I will stick to my "try something new every trip" goal :thumbsup2
I will cherish every monent I spend with DD and DM. It is a blessing that we can all go together and it won't last forever :grouphug:
I will not leave the rain poncho in the room when it's raining :confused3
I will not eat at The Liberty Tree again :sad2:
I will not forget to have an adult beverage by the pool in the afternoon. it is my vacation and I'm not driving :drinking1
I will not take work with me :woohoo:

I WILL NOT take both sets of parents with DH and I next time. I spent too much time trying to keep the peace that I ended up stressed. One set of parents only...or better yet, just the two of us.

1. I will not sit back in the room while DH wants to rest or take a nap. I will take DS over to the MK or the pool and do something fun.
2. I will make a list of things to buy at SuperTarget so we don’t waste precious “being on property” time trying to figure out what we want.
3. I will not drop my pre Disney diet so I can eat whatever I want when we’re there and not feel guilty.
4. I will NOT feel fat once, the whole trip.
5. DH says I have to repeat this one: I will NOT feel fat once, the whole trip.
6. I will not lose my sunglasses for the 5th trip in a row.
7. I will remember to bring extra contact lenses so I have a backup pair, just in case.
8. I will not skip Fantasmic because DS might get scared. This time, he’s not afraid of villains and we will give it a shot.
9. I will not book us at so many buffets that we get buffeted out and skip some fun meals because of it. Nothing wrong with menus.

Thats a tough one... I get caught up in that 'what if this is our last time to do this' nonsense :rotfl2:

1. I will not promise not to do things (I will probably break that promise). :rotfl2:

2. Only promise I will not break. Will NOT stand on long lines. Breaks my Disney mood!! :lmao:

:thumbsup2 A big thumbs up to that one, evreyone needs a break, especially MOM! Just because dh can suck it up does not mean the rest of us have to! ;)

I won't...

*Go to MGM Studios (only been there once anyway)

*Wake up early

*Make reservations for character meals

*Eat at Liberty Tree Tavern or Le Cellier

*Make breakfast reservations

*Ride Space Mountain

Just wondering why?

The comment was that I wouldn't spend money on the Christmas party again.

It's because once was enough for us. It was fine, and I'm glad we did it once, but it was very crowded, people shoving each other crowded, and we didn't think what we got from it was worth the extra money. The cocoa and cookie were nice. I guess it boils down to it was just too crowded. Add that to being at the end of a busy day. We left pretty early.

The Candlelight Processional, though, I would pay to see again. Or if I didn't want to pay, I'd take a chance and try to get a free seat, or even just listen to it from outside. This was the highpoint of our trip.
