Getting to watch a movie once a year when it came on TV, like Gone With the Wind or Wizard of Oz.

My granny and her big red pickup truck and farm.

Does anyone else remember the small records that were gum? :confused3 You could play the song on the nice dirty record player and then chew it up??!! :thumbsup2

i remember those-in fact recently when i was going through some old records recently i found one of the 'album covers' from that gum-it was a replica of the cover from 'meet the knack' (stuffed inside my 'meet the knack' album).

haven't you heard? they're back  and their concert was quite good

Toys, like Mousetrap, that weren't made out of flimsy plastics that break after two uses....

Mousetrap never worked. NEVER.

Does anyone remember this game, I don't know what it was called, but you built bridges and had to get around the board...and if you got an explosion on the dice you had to push down this handle in the middle and one of the four bridges would explode, possibly knocking your guy off? don't really know what made me think of this

I miss Pocket Rockers...and Mall Madness

Oh man! I'm going to have to not write a whole long list :goodvibes

Pinwheel on Nickelodeon

Bonkers candy

Candy cigarettes, the ones that you could puff the "smoke" out the end

And I remember playing some simple computer games on my friend's APPLE computer in 1980 or 1981. We had a commodore 64 I guess at home? I remember playing Summer Olympics in 1988 on one of those old systems, we loved it!!

Before that I remember Ataris and playing pong and then eventually Frogger, etc as games got better. (Not sure if Frogger was Atari or not)

Land of the Lost? Not sure, but I think so.

I don't remember what they were called, but there was a candy - I want to say in the late 70s or early 80s - that looked like an M&M, but it tasted like mint. The only colors in the package were brown and light green. Instead of having an "M" printed on them like an M&M does, it had a crown. Does anyone remember what it was?

I remember these....I think it was Hershey, not Mars that put those out, they were good!:thumbsup2

some of these things that have been listed bring back alot of memories.

These are some of my favorite things i miss...
