I notice some people have posted about resorts doing things with children like crafts so two questions. Can I get a list of this anywhere? do you have to be staying at that resort to do them??
My daughter loves stuff like that.
thanks Diane

I was just asking about this myself for BC - I can tell you though that they did children's crafts at the Poly when we stayed over a wknd last year. It was held around 2pm in the lobby of the GCH and they were making flower lays (sp?)/necklaces. and also had crayons and pictures to color. I assume it was just for guests of the Poly and they weren't charging for it. There was a small list of activities for around the same hour every day. That's the only one I remember though because it was the only one we did because it was raining that day. I know they have children's activities at Community hall at OKW too - finger painting, the unbirthday party, etc. Anyone else know of the other resorts and what they do?

They do craft type stuff at SAB in the afternoons. However, since SAB is open only to YC/BC guests, you do need to be a resort guest to participate.

Not a problem, we're staying at BCV's ;)

Was really asking about if they have activities for the smaller children (my ds will be 4 yrs) like crafts and things. I realize they do water games at SAB like beachball with the net up but he's still a bit small for that yet.

We are staying at Wilderness Lodge. Can my nieces participate in the Unbirthday Party at OKW? How would I find out about times it is offered? Any other information on the party would be appreciated.

We will be there soon  and I just want to know if I should bother checking it out or if it is only for DVC members.

Not sure if you need to be staying at OKW for the unbirthday party or not :confused3 -- I assume that each of the resorts activities like that are intended for the guests of that resort but ya never know. As far as do you need to be a DVC member -- the activity's run at Community hall are for ALL guests of the resort but the ones that they charge for are generally discounted for DVC members. i.e. - if they charge say $5.00 per child for an activity it may cost $5.00 for cash guests and $3.00 for DVC members.

You may want to ask this over on the DVC boards -- there will be many more informed members with better answers for you on this one;)
