Inspired by earlier threads thought it would be good for those still young at heart but past teenage years as to what to do at Disneyland Paris :)

I'm sure a few have questions and just as many if not more have visited "san" kids. So lets hear what makes DLP an adult destination :goodvibes

Thank You Cyrano!!! Fantastic idea!! I will have to get my thinking cap on for this one too!!! lol

Some ideas for the Village:

1. Enjoying the sun and the lake view on a bench in front of the lake Disney. Maybe a little bit to boring for kiddos.

2. doing line dance (very funny for every age but I think it's too difficult for kids to learn so fast) or rock'n'roll lesson in the village.

3. Maybe more liked by young adults: Go to hurricanes disco.

4. See a movie in movie theatre/cinema in French or English with age limit.

Right, I have been having a long and hard think and am going to attempt to list a few of my ideas for us big kids in Disneyland Paris!!

- A walk around Lake Disney is always peaceful and fun at the same time. You get to see all of the Disney Hotels, their themes (have a good ole nose!) and its nice to stop in some of them for a drink or just to browse the shops! Each hotel's shop has souvenirs relating to that specific hotel.. Also, characters make appearances in the hotels and sometimes they'll dress to the theme of the hotel (something different to see)...

- Me and my friend last year bought a tub of large sweet popcorn between us in Adventureland and walked around the park eating it just taking in the sites and having a totally care-free walk around the park. It helps you see all the great detail and is nice to wind-down. popcorn::

- Walking around the Sleeping Beauty's Castle can also be fun for adults. The Dragon under the castle is great to watch and then having a peek upstairs and viewing the park from the Castle balcony's is a sight (plus a good photo-op). Also, if you go upstairs in the Castle - you will come across a Stone Raven Statue...however, if you take a photo of the Stone Raven front on, on your photo its eyes are red! This can only be seen when taking a flash photo of it! I thought this was pretty cool..and shows how much detail goes into the design of the park!

- There's the obvious Space Mountain:Mission 2, Rock'n'Roller Coaster and Indiana Jones Backwards which are all popular with adult-ride thrillseekers!

- Hurricanes Nightclub in Disney Village for the younger adults (like me:cool1:lol), the Sports Bar is always popular and I also enjoyed Billy Bobs which is a western themed bar with live music playing (my friend and I spent a good few hours winding down in there watching a cowboy showdown and then a live band playing country music).

- In Adventureland you have Skull Rock which is worth having a walk-through. You walk through caves and waterfalls which is quite a fun and unique experience whilst at Disneyland Paris.

- Moteurs... Action! Stunt Show Spectacular is another thing definately worth seeing and popular with all the adults! Afterall, its not everyday we all get to watch a stunt-show and see how the movie industry works face-to-face!

- Lastly, this is Disney! There is magic and entertainment around every corner :dance3: ! From Hidden Mickeys and immaculate detail around the resort, rides, shows, parades, bars, shops, restaurants, caves, - you name it...it's there!

Anyways, that's just a couple of ideas that popped into my head regarding the subject! I hope it helps!

Vive le parc Disneyland Paris!!:yay:

when a group of 4 20-somethings were there, we really enjoyed...

- going to the bars in sequoia lodge and disneyland hotel for a drink at night, it was a great way to unwind, and they are both beautiful hotels. the fantasia bar in disneyland hotel even has a piano player sometimes - and he played frank sinatra for us!

- meeting the characters. we went mad, and while we still respected the children who wanted to meet them too, we made sure we got our rightful turn!! not just for kids :D haha, i remember my friend was having a ver serious conversation with robin hood who is her favourite character, and she told him she was not happy at the lack of robin hood themed toys...he nodded and was very empathetic!!

- chatted to cast members - in particular one incredibly handsome one who worked in adventureland...*swoon*!! it was really nice talking to people our age and hearing what it is like to work in disneyland!

- going out for a nice meal. im sure everyone enjoys this but it really is such a lovely thing to do, because we dont go out for dinner much at home!

- people watching and having a cigarette - not conding smoking nor implying all young people enjoy it, but all 4 of us were smokers and we enjoyed sitting on a bench (away from children) and just taking it all in...loved it!!

- art of animation...made us feel like kids again...my friend neil cried at this!!

- EVERYTHING!!! just be a kid again and have fun :D:D

A great idea Reid. :goodvibes

I definitely would say being able to enjoy a drink at all the different hotels. :thumbsup2

We've loved going to the Fantasia Bar for a drink but it would be sooooo much more romantic if our DDs weren't there! :rotfl:

I think too many people think character meals are just for kids ~ I love meeting the characters and can see me continuing to have character meals long into my dotage when I will trundle in on my zimmer frame. :lmao:
