Ugghhh.......why do these things happen at the worst times!!!! I lost a filling a few days back. Put off calling the dentist (that probably explains why this happened at the worst time....I let it!). It wasn't hurting, and tomorrow is the People Like Me Down Syndrome Association's first family meeting/picnic, so I figured I'd call the dentist once I was done putting this all together!! Bad, bad decision!!
Yesterday, the tooth starts hurting. It has absessed and the infection is up into my sinus, so I have a raging tooth and sinus infection, and I hurt like crazy. They put me on antibiotics and pain meds and I go Monday for a root canal. In the meantime, I have to shop in the morning for the rest of the stuff I need for the picnic and I have about 25 different paperwork pieces that I need to print up!!
As to the picnic, I don't know how many families are planning on showing up since I really don't know how many families are in the area. I do have confimed with about six families, but that's just because they happen to see me or my cofounder and said "Oh, we saw you in the paper! We're coming to your picnic!" Ay-yi-yi!!! I am so stressing!!!
Anyway, wish me lots and lots of luck for a successful picnic with lots of families showing up. Heidi and I have so many hopes and plans for this group and have put in a lot of work to get to this point, so we really want a good turnout!!!

, but still...he will remain one of my most memorable patients. Really liked him and would like to do something to honor his memory.
that your picnic/meeting is a big success, your meds work fast so you won't be in agony and that the weather is great. Take a deep breath, the man above knows you've done a great job and all your hard work will pay off sweetie.
