oct 23 is not likely (but still possible i suppose)... it'd probably be on a sunday.

things tend to close on saturdays and open on sundays.

for example, four for a dollar ends 9/20
a whole bunch of stuff ends 9/27

both Saturdays (and I assure you, that part isn't a coincidence).

then again, a soft opening is always possible.

The reason that you've noticed so many things ending on 9/27 is because Disney's fiscal year runs October to September.

Mickey is at his house. The affected area is the toontown hall of fame, not the judge's tent.

We found Donald in July in Mexico right as you exit the boat ride. He was there with a photopass photographer.

Other than the fact that their fiscal quarters run to the last weekend in the month, rather than to the last day, I'm not sure if you are not just seeing a small coincidence that shouldn't be counted on.

I heard tink and friends will be available on Oct. 26th. They are probably removing goofy, donald and Pluto to get the room ready for the new characters.

I've heard rumors that it will feel like we are shrunk down in size, but I don't see how they could do that in those rooms in the hall of fame. They are too small to put really big props in there. Anyone hear any more about any of this?

I saw Pluto, Chip & Dale, Daisy, Jiminy Cricket, Pinocchio & Gepetto, and Mary Poppins & Bert at the front entrance of MK just last week. The only ones who had Photopass photographers were Pluto and Chip & Dale, and they were located front and centre, in front of the Roy & Minnie statue. Daisy was near the barber shop, Mary & Bert were in front of Town Hall, and Pinocchio/Gepetto/Jiminy were in front of Tony's.

Is Photopass still available at the other locations? I think I like having the characters spread out, but I guess you'll have to wait in three separate lines instead of one to see three characters. I like the idea of the various themes for the characters . . . Donald as Davey Crockett would be great to see!

Some areas have Photopass, but not all of them. I would say more areas don't have Photopass then have it.

What about Mickey? If he isn't in Toontown right now, where can you find him?
