I went to Magic Kingdom today and I saw that the only line in the County Bounty is for the princesses. So Donald, Goofy, and Pluto were removed. Goofy is in Splash Mountain, Donald in Frontierland with a camping attire (I think), and Pluto is on Main Street. So it is just a reminder.

Hmmm... I was wondering about that. We went about a week and a half ago, and tried to meet all the characters there, but they only had the princesses. We got pic's with them, and didn't ask about the others. I do remember seeing Donald in Frontierland with Davy Crocket type costuming.

That's good to know. The big meet and greet areas are handy for making sure you get your pics with all the main characters, but I always found it more fun to just happen upon someone I like in the parks.

yeah, i believe joanna mentioned this a bit ago.

do we have any confirmation on where donald is specifically? i'll have very limited time to find him this weekend.

not sure if this is his definate spot, but we found donald in frontierland near the enterance to tom sawyers island, there is an area behind where they sell turkey legs that you can walk down to look across to tom sawyers island without being on the main path, and thats where they had him

I saw a picture of him under an awning (I believe in the area near CBJ).

I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for those three in MK then, they're some of my favorites to meet! They're always so good humored about it.

I feel exactly the same way! The meet & greet areas have taken that element of surprise out of the whole thing, but it's all good in the end. :wizard:

Wow, our last (1/2) day there is the 29th of September and it would absolutely MAKE my 5 yr old daughter's trip if she got to meet Tink. :cloud9:

I have my fingers crossed now. :wizard:

Is Photopass still available at the other locations? I think I like having the characters spread out, but I guess you'll have to wait in three separate lines instead of one to see three characters. I like the idea of the various themes for the characters . . . Donald as Davey Crockett would be great to see!

oct 23 is not likely (but still possible i suppose)... it'd probably be on a sunday.

things tend to close on saturdays and open on sundays.

for example, four for a dollar ends 9/20
a whole bunch of stuff ends 9/27

both Saturdays (and I assure you, that part isn't a coincidence).

then again, a soft opening is always possible.
