Oh you are so going to love D-Land. It really is the same but different. Everyone who thinks they shouldn't go because they've been to WDW is oh so wrong.

That Pirate's Adventure looks like a lot of fun. I just can't get into doing the Sorcerer's game, but I may try this.

Uh oh... Magical AND Disastrous... That's quite the combination.

I hope whatever fell out of your purse you got back. I lost my wallet on TTA once. Left Tomorrowland before I realized it and went back; they had it waiting for me. Phew!

It is a lot of fun! We tried it during it's soft opening so I am not sure how it would be open We didn't have to wait though.

It was! I was really impressed by how much thought was put in to it and how you wouldn't notice the different set ups unless you were looking for them!

So yesterday we did some single digit dancing Yep yesterday was 9 days till Disney!!!!! I really can't believe it! All of the D23 stuff has me super excited because so many Disney sites are posting pics of Disneyland and I get to go there! On a sort of unrelated note we sort of lost the pictures from our last day in May! So if we can't find them this TR will be a little bit shorts Cross your fingers we find them!

So last update I was hinting at a very special dinner. Which was going to be here



YEP BE OUR GUEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had been looking forward to this for months! I am a huge Beauty and the Beast fan and actually have the rose with the petal dropping tattooed on my foot. I grew up addicted to this movie and to this day it is still my favorite!




Needless to say seeing this stuff made me super excited!


When they call your name you get a little candelabra to hold to help you find your way to your table.



Of course we had to get pics!



The CM could tell how excited I was so made a big show of opening the doors. My mouth dropped and I was in tears.



Hence the blurry pic I was overcome with emotion.



Yeah pictures don't do it justice! I had stepped into my all time favorite movie and basically died and went to heaven.





Even the napkins were rose shaped!



Since this is the only restaurant at the MK with alcohol I of course had to indulge



I am pretty sure it was a Lasseter wine


But I didn't really take notes because my surroundings were sort of overloading my brain

I was basically in a glass case of emotion it was pretty terrible.

Seriously just died I knew Disney would do awesome with this but I really didn't know just how amazing everything would be!







But we needed to get back to our seats to begin dinner!





Garden Salad - with Champagne Vinaigrette

We decided to explore the other room after our salad



And we promptly got yelled at. I guess this one is only open during the counter service hours Which doesn't quite make sense because they could fit a lot more people in here if they opened this room up but whatever

Sauteed Shrimp and Scallops - with seasonal vegetables served in puff pastry with a creamy lobster sauce with mashed potatoes instead of the pastry

This was so amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So so so so so so good!

Mom's dinner



Grilled Strip Steak - with garlic-herb butter and pommes frites

She also loved this! It was tender and tasty! I had a bite and it was super good!

For dessert I had



Lemon-Raspberry Cream Puff -filled with lemon custard

Yep it is gluten free! It was very good!

Mom had



Lemon Meringue Cupcake - Vanilla sponge cake, lemon custard filling, flamed merinque icing and crunch

She loved this as well!

Our server brought out this



Since we were celebrating my college graduation but unfortunately it has gluten in it and I could not try it. Mom did and said it was decent though!

After we were finished with dessert Mom wanted her phone so she could send my grandma a picture of me with the Beast. My grandma is a huge BaTB fan as well so we knew she would love it! Well when I went looking through my purse it wasn't there Needless to say we got into a bit of a fight and then when Mom was doing something she got meringue in her hair which caused me to laugh and cause the fight to escalate a bit By that time we were just ready to get out of there and a bit of the magic had left.

But on the way out I got my picture with the Beast




I still look pretty happy here I think that wine was strong!

After having cooled down a bit we decided to go to the TTA next




and take some more castle pics

It was such a beautiful night and after everything we realized we didn't need to spend it fighting and made up

Then went here because this ride puts me in my happy place!




Then we headed here



My favorite scene



I am trying to get dad to do Pirates Toms for my food and wine trip! I really would like this scene on one shoe and the drunken pirate with the pigs on the other





And Johnny was the last pic of the night! We tried to get out before the fireworks so we wouldn't cry more and made it to Guest Relations before they started. Unfortunately Mom's phone hadn't been found but they said to try the lost and found main area the next day.

Would the phone be found?
Will our vacation continue to be magical?

You are the beast are definitely a mismatched couple - you look like a midget compared to him. Great pictures even though he towers over you!

What a nice way to wake up this morning - looking at pictures of Be Our Guest while I have my coffee! I can't even tell you how much I am looking forward to seeing this place. When this movie came out, my older son was only one year old so I couldn't take him (his 1st was Aladdin) so a friend and I went to see it. I just fell in love with this story. I hope we get to eat in the West Wing - I really like that atmosphere.
I hope Dawn gets her phone back!!!!!

I did get the ones I am wearing from Hot Topic. They sell out fast though so you have to look on their website a couple times a week to see the different styles. I also bought one at Target the other day so I think they are starting to get some in as well!

I lost my phone once on ET ride in Universal years ago. Fell right out of my pocket. They said we had to come back at the end of the night when they shut down the ride and then they could look. Well, my DH dropped me and kids back at hotel(They were much younger back then) and went back by himself. I didn't think I'd ever see it again. But they found it! I couldn't believe it.

Sorry you and your mom had a little tiff over it. But it's always nice when you can get over it and move on. You are on vacation, darn it, no time to be upset!!! Good to see you guys back on track!!

Thank you for following along with our TRs! I am glad you are enjoying the gluten free part of the reporting! I am more in love with Disney now because of how amazing they are with allergies! So much good food that week!

Yes that is sort of what happened to us

Tensions were high during that time but it was also nearing the end of our trip and we had definitely worn ourselves out by this point! It didn't take long for us to make up though!
