~~ They're leaving the nest, sew it's time for a trip - or two - or three...~~ D~'s bag ~9/22 ~~

I see what you mean about the white polka dot leggings. You can see the white through them but I would guess that it would not be noticeable from far away, although the white and black could blend to a dark grey look. I hope the new fabric works better for you.

I have our annual pass holders magnet on the side of the refrigerator, the side you can't see unless you are getting something from the cabinet. ;) I'm not going to admit my Disney obsession to the world. ;)

Also, today is a big day for Josh… Can’t go into details here – but Pixie Dust for him today would be greatly appreciated. I’ll tell you all about it when I can.
Good luck! pixiedust: ( figured this was close to pixie dust)
I received this in the mail the other day… I am kind of afraid to put it on my car though – I am afraid it’s a hot commodity, and someone may try to steal it? So, I will hang it somewhere – not sure where yet? I just wish it was a decal vs. a magnet.
DH still has his on the back of his Jeep even though our passes has expired.

Well, I really like this one pattern from Patterns for Pirates, this one is called Peg Legs… They also have another, which is Pilazzo Pants – an d many people rave about those too… Maybe try there. Personally – I prefer to buy patterns that I can print at home, it’s just easier and immediate gratification. I believe both of these patterns come in adult and children’s sizes.
I'll have to check it out. Thanks

Oh boy, more leggings and a HP bag...sounds like fun! Wow, your trip is coming FAST!

Yes, we got a Castaway Club Silver Member magnet after our cruise last year...and it is on our fridge. I just did not want to put it on my car. Can't blame you.

Banded bottom short sleeveed tops seem to be what I am most looking for and having a hard time this time of year. :thumbsup2
Maybe Target, or Old Navy? I know it's hard finding short sleeves right now!

The leggings look cute, but I see what you mean about them pulling. Hopefully the new fabric you get will work out better. Your nails look great! Is that the same pedicure from your November trip?!

Pixie dust to you husband!:goodvibes

I love the picture of V with the frost helmet.

It would be a shame to loose the Disney Annual Passholder magnet so I think it's wise to hang it somewhere safe.

I can't wait to see your Harry Potter bag.

You have done a great job with your eating and fitness program. Don't forget that

Yah – that one is pretty funny!

Yup – I’ll hang it on my fridge or something. :scratchin

Me too – LOL… I really have no idea what I am doing for it yet.

I know… It’s not always easy to be upbeat about it though. I try not to let that reflect much here – but sometimes it’s hard.

It’s not too noticeable – it looks gray from far away. I am hoping this next fabric is dyed vs. screen printed – that was the issue with the current stuff. Thanks – me too… I don’t think my order will ship until after Christmas – one of the fabrics I ordered was a “pre-order” fabric, set to ship before Jan 5th.

I think that’s what I plan to do too… LOL Why not? :scratchin I know.. Some people just don’t get it. ::yes::

Good luck! pixiedust: ( figured this was close to pixie dust)

Very close – thank you!

Hmmm… And no one has stolen it? Maybe I’ll put it on after the holidays?

You’re welcome – I hope they work out for you.

It is!!!! It’s coming super-fast! I am super excited about the leggings, and the HP bag. Not sure which one I am most excited about… Probably the leggings, since I will get the most use out of them. ::yes::

That’s cool! Yup – I am thinking my fridge is a good idea – or somewhere in my sewing room that’s metal… Which would be my sewing machine. :scratchin LOL

Maybe Target, or Old Navy? I know it's hard finding short sleeves right now!

Well, I found some on Amazon… but I no longer have Prime, and they don’t qualify for Prime anyways… but shipping on them is a little ridiculous… I”ll keep watching for a week or two yet, to see if I can find anything better. I haven’t had much luck at Target online or Old Navy online – which are my 2 go-tos for something like this. This is what I am looking for… Something lose up top but banded at the bottom and short sleeved… The price is good, but shipping isn’t so good. LOL http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...ue&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_2&smid=A36PE4LQFXWHNB

I sure hope so too… YES! LOL that is my same pedi from November… Is it sad that I am trying to make it last until January – so I don’t have to pay to have them done again? LOL I’ll definitely have to have a manicure, but if I can avoid the Pedi – that would be nice. Such a cheapo here. I am pretty sure I’ll have to have them done again though.

Thank you!

I had a really good day yesterday….

I worked out hard yesterday morning, doing my 30 Day Shred Level 3 video, then I mushed in some heavy lifting – concentrating on shoulder/chest… It was good.

Then I worked upstairs – it was an applique day… And even though I didn’t finish it – I made a good dent.

I ran my errands yesterday – but I didn’t end up getting anything for Allison – maybe this afternoon? I have a few more options I want to try.

Then, I came home – made dinner and hung out. Oh and I made a dessert… 7 layer Snickers bars… I think you can Google the recipe? That’s how I found it. Super good – although, mine stuck to the wax paper horribly, they taste yummy, so that’s what matters. I am meeting up with my neighbors this morning for a “going away” party for one of our neighbors who sold their house this week…. We are doing a coffee and dessert for breakfast theme. :thumbsup2

I also did a bit of “puppy cuddling”… Which is me being buried under my big guys… I think, they think this is funny… Me – not so much. Cooper is just as big as MM now… Well, bigger actually – he is much more bruit-like. And don’t mind the bins of DVDs next to my chair – I can’t really put them anywhere else, until I haul them to the basement – and I haven’t done that yet. ::yes:: That’s on my list for today.

Today… I’ll be working out right away this morning – trying to counteract this delicious breakfast I am planning to have. Then I will be coming home to work for a little while…

After – I am going to try to head out and find something for Miss Allison for Christmas… I hate that I am not even close to being done with her yet.

I think Josh is taking me out for dinner tonight? :scratchin

Thank you for all the Pixie Dust for him yesterday… It was good and I will update when I know more. :lovestruc

That’s about all…

I hope you all have a marvelous weekend! Prayers and good thoughts to all! :lovestruc

The top is cute. I don't have Amazon Prime, either, so I usually just buy some books or a DVD in order to qualify for free shipping.

Good luck with your Christmas shopping. We finished ours on Sunday.

the 7 layer Snickers bar sound delicious.

Looks like both the dogs are having a good time cuddling with you :lovestruc

My new car has been ordered :dancer:
They haven't got a date yet for when it will arrive to Norway. But it's sounds like I will have it in my driveway in time for summer.

Your dogs are beautiful. I've been recuperating from my surgery last week and fortunately my dogs haven't tried to lay on me -- that wouldn't be good! But both dogs can tell I'm still not feeling 100% and they have been glued to my side throughout my recovery. I love my furbabies. I look forward to getting back to exercising a bit when I'm fully recovered. But, in the meantime, I've been following your example and trying to focus on eating healthy. :-)

Snickers bars for breakfast...yeah, I think I could do that! :)

The boys are so cute! MM looks happy to be on mommy's lap...and SC, well he just looks like he's happy, happy!

That top is so cute! But yeah I totally get it the shipping for it isn't too great. That's the problem when things aren't directly sold from Amazon...the shipping is always more..

No thats great! The fact that they still look brand new is fabulous. Honestly I always think it's easier for my pedicures to stay good in the winter, since I'm not wearing open toed shoes much so that they will chip, or in a pool/ocean that they will fade. I bet they will still look great in January!i
Look at those cuties. Too cute for me to handle!:lovestruc

Enjoy the breakfast with your neighbors! That sounds like fun. Also good luck getting Allison her other Christmas gifts!

We had our AP magnet on our car for 11 months, no problem. And it disappeared off our car last week. People suck.

Can't wait to see your new fabric! :)

Makes sense... :)

Thanks - still not done... Not sure when I will get done? LOL :scratchin Hopefully soon, I am really starting to stress over it.

What an adorable picture D!!

Thanks!!! These dogs love to be lap dogs... I can be sitting there with my knees up - and SC will just jump over them. ::yes::

They were... I ate way too many.

Yay!!!! So happy for you! :woohoo:

The snicker bars sound amazing.

I hope you are doing OK... No, puppies laying on you would not be good, I am glad you are recovering though.

The boys are so cute! MM looks happy to be on mommy's lap...and SC, well he just looks like he's happy, happy!

Yah - yesterday was a rough day... Pretty sure I had no nutrition whatsoever.

LOL - they are pretty happy dogs, most of the time. Sometimes - too happy. LOL

Go to Kogmo directly. They have free shipping right now and it's on sale for the same price.

Eeek!!! Great idea! Thank you - off to look this morning!

Yah - my only issue is I am worried my toe nails will get too long... Yuck. LOL They are borderline right now - and I still have a month to go.

Hehehe... They are cute... They did it to me again last night - I hope this doesn't become a habit... SC is not the best cuddler in the world - he's more of the best licker. LOL And I am not really all that excited about dog kisses.

Thanks - we had a lot of fun!

I vote you make a Hedwig bag for your HP themed bag ::yes::

We'll see... I am more thinking of just doing a machine embroidery for my own bag... It will be easier - I think? :scratchin

That is such a bummer. Sometimes people are so ~ugh~ Grrrrrr.... Drives me crazy!

************************************************************************************

Well, yesterday... I did work out. So, that's good. And I did go upstairs to work for a little bit...

I went to my neighbor's at 9am... With bars, cookies and coffee in hand... I intended to stay for an hour - maybe a little more. We had so much fun - I looked down at my fitbit and it was 1pm!!!! Time flies when you are having fun - I guess. It was great to get together, we haven't done it in so long, so it was fun to catch up and compare notes. This was just a very much needed thing, and it was nice to be reminded that I really love my neighbors and spending time with them a lot! I am very lucky!

I ran out the door at 1:30pm... I still had to run to the vet and get dog food - then go in the completely opposite direction to pick Allison up from school by 2:30... I barely made it on time. We shopped and sat at Starbucks until it was time to pick V up at 4:30...

Came home - had leftovers for dinner, then Josh and I watched Christmas with the Kranks and a different Hallmark Christmas movie (can't remember the name of it...) It was a great night, very relaxing.

I am pretty sure I had no nutrition yesterday at all... Countless bars and coffee cake (home made)... Not to mention about 6 cups of coffee... Back at it today though. ::yes::

I am not sure what my plans are for the day/weekend... Maybe a little work and a little Christmas gift wrapping? :scratchin Lots of laziness too... :D

I hope you all have a great weekend! Pixie dust to all! :grouphug:

How great that you had a good time with your neighbors.

Today or tomorrow I'm baking American chocolate chip cookies. I only make them for Christmas. I say American because it's a recipe my parents got when we lived in the USA and I haven't tasted any chocolate chip cookies that are as good here in Norway.

So glad you had a good time with your neighbors! I went to a drop in Christmas brunch at a friend's house this morning and it was just what the doctor ordered. I got all of the presents wrapped except two -- going to have my daughters wrap those...just need to get some stocking stuffers for my husband (he's so hard to shop for) and I'm done. We leave Monday to travel to Georgia for Christmas. We love "Christmas with the Kranks" -- one of our favorite Christmas movies. My nephew arrived home from a two year church mission earlier this week and his brother-in-law held up a sign at the airport that said "Blair and N-Reeky". LOL

It was so much fun! I am glad that we were finally able to coordinate it.

Mmmm... I love chocolate chip cookies. How did they turn out?

WTG! I have all of mine wrapped at the moment, but then Josh and I went out shopping again last night... So, I am not done after all. LOL

That is too funny - I always crack up at that part!

****************************************************************

I really didn't do much of anything yesterday....

I cleaned up a little around the house in the morning... Then I worked upstairs and finished my applique... It's really awesome!

Then I got ready for the day... Josh and I decided to go out shopping again... Finally, FINALLY - we are almost done with Allison... I plan to buy one more thing at Target this week, and grab a couple of goodies for her from Ulta on Tuesday when I am in that area - then it's a relief to finally be done with her. Phew! Not the best gifts in the world - but I think she will like them. ::yes:: I hope.

After we were done shopping - we went out for dinner at Cracker Barrel... I know we've had this discussion before - It's kind of a greasy place, but I love their breakfasts... And I get to order steak with 3 eggs... Yummy. ::yes::

We came home and watched a bit of TV, I barely remember going to bed.

Today... I've really been up in the air... I have my family's big Christmas party today - on one hand, I want to go, on the other hand - I don't feel like doing the drive. It's 3 hours there, 3 hours home... Josh definitely doesn't want to go... V has her Christmas program with the little kids at church this morning - so she can't go with us... Allison did express interest. So, I am debating on just taking her and going. I think it would be fun, and since she drives - we could split up the driving a bit, and besides - my grandmother is getting up there in age, I would hate to miss out on the few Christmases that we have with her. Allison worked last night until mid-night though, so she might be pretty tired? Then Josh could stay here and do whatever he needs to do. So, I am thinking I might do this? If so, I have to wake Allison in an hour so she can start getting ready... As we have to make it out of here at 8:30 to make it up there in time for the noon meal. :scratchin

If we go - I hope to be home by dinner time. :lovestruc

January trip update...

Well, I've been steadily making FPs for our trip... I am very HAPPY to say - I was able to get 7DMT at 30 days out, with a bit of availability. :woohoo: So, Allison will get the experience of riding it at night, at least once. I sure hope that 7:30 will still be dark? :scratchin I was trying to figure it out and I can't remember... Maybe I should go later? We will be at MK at 8am that morning for a PPO CP ADR... Then we have a 2pm lunch at BoG... I was thinking we'd leave the park after that - and come back in time for our 7DMT FP... That would give us a 5 hour break from the park... Any advice here? Should I go later with that FP?

UGH - I just noticed that AK opens at 8am on our day there.. So, my PPO at TH is burning valuable park time... This same thing happened to Swoozie and I, we may have to change times on that. :scratchin OK - I was able to switch it to 9am... So, we'll get in the park (hopefully) by 8am... Go straight to safari... Then have breakfast at TH - then go to EE, ride in single rider until our FP comes up. :scratchin

I really should look at the park hours once in a while? LOL

Also - another quandry... Allison only has a 4 day park hopper, since it's a military PH - we cannot add days to it... We want to do 2 full MK days - which means we will have to park hop to see Epcot at some point... Maybe our AK day... I think our last FP there is at 3 pm... I could maybe make it earlier and then we could go back to the resort for a few hours - then hit Epcot for Illuminations and School Bread - as those are my only 2 objectives there this time... Soarin is closed for refurb and if we do TT - we can do it single rider... I think we could easily do these things in just a few hours - easily. ::yes::

OK - I think that's about all for updates for today... FP availability seems to be pretty good so far for Jan - so there is hope that crowds won't be too bad. :woohoo:

Have a great weekend everyone! Prayers and good thoughts to all! :lovestruc

We have our office Christmas party today and it is a two hour drive to get there, then two hours back in crowded city traffic, :crazy2:, which is really annoying this close to Christmas. With a hoard of family coming in from out of town, next weekend I have too much to do to spend it in the car, but we have to go. It will be fun, though, so I guess that makes it worth it.

Remember that a 7:30pm fast pass means that you can get on the ride at 8:29pm, so there is no reason to make it later. Check to see what time the parade and fireworks are and you just might be timing it perfectly with that fp. And yes, it will be dark then. :)
