We had an amazing day yesterday! It was our Universal day and Harry Potter was amazing... I can't wait to tell you all about it! A couple of my favorite photos to tide you over....

It's so sad that our trip is almost over, but it was one of our favorite trips, and I am so thankful to have had this one on one time with Allison. I am not looking forward to going back to the snow & cold.

I hope all of you are doing well, and please be sure to watch for a new TR in the coming days... Also be prepared for the Part II of this one, as it has almost reached it's posting limit.

It's so sad that our trip is almost over, but it was one of our favorite trips, and I am so thankful to have had this one on one time with Allison.

Good morning everyone!!! Allison and I are home safely - after the trip of a lifetime!!!! I cannot even express how wonderful this trip was and how much fun we had! I cannot wait to share it all with you. Please keep your eyes open - as I hope to get the TR started this morning... I have so much to tell you all and so much to share with you, I am very excited!

We had a good trip home and 2 good flights... Sadly - Allison is very sick right now. I am not sure if it's something she ate over the last 2 days? Or if she caught a bug? But she was up vomiting all night long. Poor kid has just had a rough few weeks of it - between having her wisdom teeth out - an accident on Expedition Everest on the first day of our trip - and now some sort of stomach issue - it's not been good. As you all know - she missed finals due to our trip, she had made arrangements with all of her teachers to make-up her finals today (today is the last day she can make them up) - but there is NO way I can let her go to school at all. I am praying they are able to give her some sort of extension - or something? I think the stress of it all, and being sick on top of it - plus not being able to open her mouth all the way yet - well, I think it's making her feel worse. So, if you could send some Pixie Dust our direction - I would really appreciate it.

Josh and V did great while we were gone... V went to a church camp all this last weekend - so Josh was literally holding down the fort himself - he seemed very happy to have us home yesterday. And V had a great time at camp. Puppies missed us a lot and were thrilled to have us home - MM especially.

I will post a link here when I get the new TR up and running. I plan to keep this PTR going as I plan V's trip over the coming months - but as I said the other day - I am getting close to a posting limit for this PTR, so there will likely be a Part II coming in the next few weeks. I will continue to do my daily updates here, while doing my TR for this last trip - just like I did before.

Sorry I've been MIA....again....

So sorry to hear about Allison's wisdom teeth, stress and new illness. Hope she starts feeling better soon!!!!

In early December 10 of my fellow employees were told they would no longer have a job come 12/31/15. So things at work haven't improved much. Folks still feel like there is an atmosphere of wanting anyone who has been here for any length of time to leave. My boss has always been great to me so I guess I shouldn't complain. AND I really do know it probably isn't any better anywhere else. They are remodeling our building. Removing nearly all the offices and making it an open floor plan. So I've been moved out of my office with a nice huge window and view of Boston skyline and am currently in a good size cubicle without any windows close by. This is just temporary space until they figure out where we will go-we might move to space they are working on right now or it might be the end of this year before we move again. When I move again I'll be in a tiny 6x6 cubicle with very low walls.

Good news on the work front is that a coworker & I have been given permission to attend a conference at the Disney Institute in June! We will be staying at the Grand Floridian. I've never been there. The classroom work is reinforced with "field experiences" in the parks. I'm pretty excited about going. I'm going the weekend before and staying in a 2BR villa at the Grand Floridian using my DVC points I saved from last year with my FL friend, Terry. That weekend is actually her birthday. Then I'll stay an extra night at the Grand after the conference and 1 last night in a studio at the Poly. The course fits in well with the changes they are trying to make here so hopefully it will help me improve my attitude about the whole thing. Since I'm doing this in June I will not be going to Disney in May for my birthday. I will be at Disney for 10 nights and only use 2 vacation days. Guess I'll be using my vacation days doing college tours.

I am glad you are home safe. I am so sorry to hear that Allison is sick. Poor thing - she's been through the ringer these last few weeks. Thankfully it happened after you got home and not in the middle of the trip. Sending her major amounts of pixie dust.

I just finished several days of reading you whole trip report. I am a terrible lurker(I love reading what everyone else writes), just not very good at posting on things (I'm not even on FB).
