The family is NOW starting to talk about going to WDW for Easter.

They have no idea how I slaved, juggled, lost sleep, read Dis boards till my eyes were red, planned, got PS's, read and reread guide books, asked questions, paid this and that, did a schedule(which we all know will go out the window when we get there), reserved rooms, changed rooms, changed rooms again, reserved car service, changed car service, double checked air reservations every week in case of changes, made lists of food to take, made lists of park hours and EMH, double check everything , and NOW they're wondering what we're doing!!! HAH!!!

:hyper:

BUT, don't feel sorry for me, this is one of my favorite parts of going to WDW!!. I just like the family to pity me.....

See you there!:sunny:

Yep - been there, doing that

Just had to do the hard sell for Mission Space to my dear DS's - yes we are doing this 1st thing 1st day and they are like "what do you mean we're doing that!".....

I've actually had 3 family meetings on the schedule, guess they were all "out to lunch"

Have a magical trip - I know we will ::yes::

Ninety days before the trip everyone acts like you're crazy for planning where we'll be on certain days and gee, picking out restaurants.

All that changed when we got in a huge line for lunch at CRT one day. The hostess announced that if you did not have a PS, there were no openings so please get out of line. The entire line left except for our family and we were shown into the castle.

DD and DH THEN decided that hey, I guess Mom was pretty smart to figure this out ahead of time!

I warned them that if they did not give me their input, then I'd be doing the choosing and they could just abide by my wishes!

Ya gotta love it, lol.

I have been planning our trip incessantly for the last week or so. Hubbie will come home from work and ask what I did today, and I will explain that I have been researching Disney, and made our van ressie, our PS, etc. He doesn't get it.

I asked my 15 year old daughter her opinion of going to MK the first real day we are there on a Monday, and she just shrugged and said whatever I decided, since I always make the right decisions.

They truly have no idea what goes into planning the trip beforehand so that it is as stressfree as possible once you arrive.

Have fun!

LOL! I am actually missing that feeling ever since my family has started to actually voice opinions about our trips! DH now tells me where he wants to stay, DS makes water park requests, and DD reminds me which restaurant she likes. I much preferred being the dictator! LOL!

But they all know that once we get there, they are to follow me!
