Ugh... I had those a few years ago.... painful... My doctor told me to get as much air to the affected area as possible and it will heal faster... Seemed to help it not hurt as much too...

Thanks for the tip. I have happy pain pills but I can't take them and watch my little man. He has only had two of the three Chicken Pox Vaccine shots so right now the question is will he break out? Its been a very stressful time worrying about him. I am so looking forward to this weekend since He will be home and I will be on my meds. Honestly I dont think I have ever been in so much pain in my entire life. I tried to take a shower and almost passed out. I hate shingles. They are evil.

I am not sure were they are on your body, but mine were on my back, and right were my bra would have run across them... I went to work and told my boss after about 10 minutes that the bra was coming off and I was not liable for anyone getting a black eye from one of my "melons" ... he let me go home until they healed... I put a fan on me too and the cool air did wonders... Before I went to the doctor I put neosporin and a gauze over it, and holy cow that hurt so much more than leaving it alone... Good luck on the little one not catching it...

Becca-I'm so sorry about the shingles! My grandma had them a few years ago and I would tear up just seeing them and watching how much pain she was in. I hope they clear up soon.

Thanks for all the well wishes. I am very out of it and have spent most of the weekend rather drugged up but still in a lot of pain. Mostly I am sad about being stuck at home. I couldn't bear to go out but I hate missing my DD's open house and not being able to see my Step Sister that was in town (she has never had chicken pox the lucky girl!)

I am trying to force He to add his take. Maybe he will take pity on me and my spots.

So as a very belated anniversary present I was allowed to pick out a new digital camera since mine went to the error screen of death. After reading the raves about it here I picked up the Panasonic TZ25 (in blue- because we all know that is the most important part!) Its been really easy to use and I look forward to playing around with it. Here are some recent (as in yesterday and today) pictures I have taken with it.

My Little Man: He doesn’t get enough pictures on this TR. And yes I know he didn’t go on the TR but he’s so cute!

I still have the shingles and its not even a bit of fun. Thank goodness for vicodin! Thanks for all the well wishes. I am haunting the Dis since I can't do much else and they really help to life my spirits.

Sorry about your shingles , I have never even had chicken pox but have been vaccinated for them. Coll that you got a new camera that is the least HE could do. Hope you feel better soon .

Glad to see you back and posting some. I know how tough it is being stuck inside. I can't even imagine how horrible the dreaded shingles are! It's good to see some happy, smiling pictures of the family though...thanks for sharing them! Keep us updated on how things are going!
