This TR is so enjoyable! You guys are doing a great job.
I can sympathize with the whole not eating food thing. Our rule when the kids were little they had to have a little of everything we were serving on their plates and they had to try at least one bite if they didn't like it then they didn't have to eat it but they have to at least take one bite. If they refused to eat it then they could not have a snack at 7:00pm ( that was deemed snack time in our house ) After a few battles this worked like a charm. So when ever they would not eat we would then have this elaborate snack at snack time ( like ice cream with all kinds of goodies on it, I know I am a crule mother! ) Well it didn't take to long for them to gobble everything up on there plate. They are now 12 and 15 and they are very healthy eaters they love all kinds of fruit and veggies ect.. And they still to this day wait until 7:00pm to have a snack! We really must have drilled that into them. And most of the time what they do have for snacks are veggies and dip or they make a small salad! ( I know weird!
) I would be all over the cake and cookies or ice cream!

I am so loving this TR. You guys are hilarious!! I can see how your DD would not want to eat a grilled cheese that doesn't look like a NORMAL one. I wonder if you could request plain old Wonder bread for a sandwich there? Luckliy, when my son was that age, he ate anything. But, that's great that she eats veggies. Can't wait for the next installment.
Another great installment!I keep on realizing how fortunate I am to have children who will eat anything and everything!
Oh well, I guess it is all part of our life as parents! Keep up the great job on this TR! You have already built up a fan club! Please don't keep us waiting for too long!

Great trip report!I am enjoying it very much! I thought the whole part about your DD being such a picky eater was funny.
Trust me, I know the feeling, totally embarassed
that your children would act like that in a public place but, refusing to give in because you just have to put your foot down some times. (even in disney!) My DD can be picky at times too. She's 10 now and even still we have to threaten her to finish.
Sad I know but, at least she doesn't gag any more (as much)! It does get better though, at least it did for her! Waiting for your next installment!
cant waitr for the next installment about the party!
I cannot wait to hear more myself! I really am enjoying the he/she said format...very creative!![]()
I'm enjoying your he said/she said style of writing.![]()
I think a lot of people can relate to Mr. Pig with the price of gas![]()
We have a picky eatin' girl here too........years ago I tried to do the Seinfeld's wife thing and hide veggies in spaghetti sauce.....etc.........but now she is old enough so that when she doesn't like what DH and I are having she makes her own but it has to have more than one food group![]()
Great Trip report so far! We had one of those kind of kids too. If I ever finish my report, you will hear about a whiny crying 11 yo- yes I said 11who refused to eat at a Disney restaurant. I feel your pain.
I cannot wait to hear more myself! I really am enjoying the he/she said format...very creative!![]()
Great update! We don't have kids yet, but I feel for you with the hysterical kid in the corner! Hopefully she gets a little adventurous with food on this trip. Can't wait for the next installation!
