Have a safe trip Lake!!!

You're going to have so much fun! :yay: All of us sitting at home expect lots and lots of pictures! :thumbsup2

Morning!

Well, Lake, have a wonderful trip---- it is so wonderful that you are getting to go for a weekend to PGH.
Hope the rain will stop for you guys-- I'm afraid it left us over here and headed your way b/c it's been yucky for the past few days and now is sunshiney.
Be safe and buy the whole store... you have a van. It'll fit.;)
As far as touring--- Shelly's right-- you'll have to plan around F! and Spectro- if you wnat to see both of those. WHich means you'll be in the most crowded parks unless you have the hoppers and can hop back just for the shows at night (which is what the JoBird's do.):)
We are commando-- and I always say every trip that we will slow down the next time, but it never seems to happen.
If we owned DVC- MAYBE I would.:rotfl:

Shelly-- that is so awful they waited until the last minute to cancel. AND that it's the second time they've canceled now. Poor boys.
Well, I hope that your DS is awesome and shows up the competition.:cool1:

Hello to everyone else....

Sea- hope you are doing okay.

Jo

Morning JO!

Well they did get in about 30 minutes of try-outs. But it was raining so hard that I'm not sure how they evaluated anyone. :confused3 DS was doing good though, from what I could see. I thought the rain would really distract him, but he seemed to be "on".

Oh my! Just did my daily airfare check.:eek::eek: $147 one-way for a non-stop flight. :scared1::scared1::scared1: Seriously??? Those rates better come down! I sure didn't budget for that!

You're right- don't know how they could've seen anything in the rain- but I guess they know what to look for and see tendencies of greatness in sun or rain.:cutie:

Airfare---- yikes!!!!!!!!!! That is so high! How much are you hoping for? Seriously--- out of PGH should be cheap. My Mom kept telling me that the best time to check for a rate for aifare is Tues. mornings... around 9 am.:confused3 She'd heard that somewhere.
Check a site called farecompare dot com. It might help you some, but I don't know.

What's Airtran running? I know you have the voucher but Airtran might be cheaper, even calculating that into the price.:confused3

Just a thought.

Bath and Body works has their signature antibac soap on sale- 5 for $15 or 7 for $20.Tht's where I'm headed.:lmao:

I'm going shopping with Belle for school stuff . Guess I need to get ready to go. I'm lazy and want to sit around chatting today.

Shelly- how much moola you got in that Ole' Disney fund? Got enough for a tag along guest? I don't eat much. Just a salad a day. And maybe some chips. Um... maybe a dole whip, but I promise that's all.
Oh- and I'll pay for my own airfare.

Please?:littleangel: Adopt me?????:flower3:

yep,

Jo

Sorry- too much coffee in a short amount of time this morning.:dance3:

I think when the rates came out it was around $89 each way and has done nothing but go up from there. I have never paid more than $79 each way. So I guess that's what I am hoping for, or less!! Last year I bought them at around $89-$99 each way and then they dropped later and that's how I ended up with the SW credit. So I keep checking everyday, but no good deals yet. Probably in another month or so. . . .

I should check AT. I like them better anyway. They don't break my luggage! But I just haven't looked because of the SW credit. I think I will go take a peak!

JO - let's see, the Disney fund is getting there. I owe about $2200 on my package. . . I have just about that in the fund.(well I will when I get my escrow refund check!) But nothing more for airfare!! I was hoping I would only end up paying around $500 after the credit. . .

Hi Mayers!

I hope the Mayer meet-up tomorrow is a blast. I wish could of made it out there...too much going on out here. Have a blast and take lots of pics!

Ooooh, I love Bath and Body works!!!! I use their 'Need a Margarita' body wash every day!!! I love it! It reminds me of the beach. :beach:

And I am on a mission to find the 'Iced Tea Twist' lotion and Oil from last season for my oil burner. It smells sooo good!

greetings from your resident Canuck.... who is now south of the border!!!!!!!

a little TR of my own perhaps...

The drive was great, and we played the license plate count, and saw license plates from 18 of your glorious states so far...in just a short 5 hour drive. So cool!!!!! I will add that we were the only canadian plate we saw. hmmm...!!! Next year we should bring some friends.

We've arrived in Grove City at about 5 pm, and have already done a bit of shopping tonight (12$ jeans for the kids at Oshkosh, and Jason stopped at the Steelers store , he bought me a shirt. :) . Then we grabbed some SUBWAY take out and drove across the street and checked into our hotel. After we ate we went downstairs for a quick swim to unwind a bit, and hopefully tire the kids out further, they are a bit rowdy after the drive. And now I am attempting to settle the kids in for some sleep.

Tomorrow we will head to the city, and the weather will determine how we start the the day... but at 5 pm... you know where we'll be... MAYERS MEET!!!!!

So good night for now.. talk to you soon...and see some of you sooner!

Glad you're there safe, Lake!

Have a wonderful weekend...

and Happy Moving MAYers Meet, ya'll!!!!

Have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone else--- have a great weekend!:snooty:

Jo

Glad you made there safe and sound Lake! (FYI - One night when we came back to the hotel, there was a car with a Canadian license plate. I pointed it out to the kids who really got a kick out of it. They were going on and on about NEVER seeing a Canadian license plate before. I just didn't think it was going to be that big of a deal to them. Well, as we are staring at the plate, the car owner pops out of the hotel to ask if he can help us? :rolleyes1 So I tried to explain to him about the kids never seeing a Canadian license plate, that we are from the South, not very close to the border, etc. He just looked at me like I was :dance3:

:lmao:

Well, sitting here listening to the thunder.

Hope you guys have nice weather!

Just got my escrow refund check in the mail!! Disney here we come!!!!!!!!!!!!:woohoo:

DH just said that he would like to buy a shed with that money.:eek::eek: I realize that our new garage is smaller than our old garage, but jeez come on DH - where are your priorities???:laughing:

:lmao:

Tell him you'll have to see how much money is left after the vacation and the size of the shed is all dependant on what you bring home.:lmao:

Course i'm one to talk.

The Audio installers just left after installing Mark's media room speakers.

WHo knew speakers in a ceiling could cost so dang much???????

:eek::eek:

That would've been a few nights in WDW. :sad2: Deluxe.:scared1:

And no- I don't need to hear Every. Little. Sound. In a. Movie.
Don't need my head to vibrate while I'm watching the movie.
Don't want to wear earplugs while watching the movie.

But he does, so there it is. I just want the tv to turn on when I press the button, and a little bit of dialouge.:lmao:

Ahhhhhhh- it's all about priorities, like you say.

One man's speakers (or shed!) is another man's (or womans!) trip to disney.

:rolleyes1:rolleyes1:rolleyes1
