Morning MAYers! :goodvibes

Just trying to finish up the laundry here so I can go outside and work on the landscaping some more.

Hey Sulley! How are you doing? I will either be down to see you in November or in January! :yay:

Okay so as I wait on the last load of clothes to dry I am working on a tentative November schedule. . .

Sun Nov 8 ~ Lunch at resort / AK 12-5 / Evening free ~ Dinner at Whispering Canyon Cafe ??

Mon Nov 9 ~ DTD ~ Wolfgang Puck Express Lunch / Boardwalk in the evening ~ Dinner at Big River Grille

Wed Nov 11 ~ Free morning ~ Lunch at ?? / MK 3-close ~ Dinner at ??(maybe Tony's ?) ~ Wishes

Thur Nov 12 ~ Late breakfast at Kona Cafe / Epcot 12-close ~ Dinner at LeCellier ~ IllumiNations

Fri Nov 13 ~ Free Day / Dinner at Turf Club ? / DTD

Sat Nov 14 ~ Breakfast at Crystal Palace ~ MK rope drop until about 2-3 / Evening free ~ Dinner ??

Sun Nov 15 ~ Departure

This is all based off of what I think the hours will be and what days I think Fantasmic/Spectro will be so that we can avoid them this time!

So what do you think? I know there are a lot of ?? in there. So feel free to help me fill them in! I'm just trying to take this trip at a little slower pace. That's why there is so much "free" time!

Morning!

waiting on my builder to come by to finish up our one year punch list.

Can't believe we've been here almost one year. time flies.

Hi Sulley! How are you? Thanks for the info on Pres day. Would you compare the crowds to this past Halloween crowds? I thought that was crowded.
If wqe could get a code, I'd love for the kids to go. Still looking at the week before.

Of course, Mark has a cousin getting married Thanksgiving weekend (the same day as the Florida/Florida State huge rivalry game... AND she's a Gator! How dare she?) in Florida.:wizard: I'm thinking the Wed before Turkey day thru Wednesday is sounding good to me. That way we could do Turkey day with the whole fam- all 75+ of us... and then do the wedding.

Huuuuuuuummmmmmmmm.

Tell your SIL that she is more than welcome to have the baby on Sunday- either right before or right after MP's race.

And then, she MUST name the baby Michael when MP "smokes the competition".:smokin:

Oh wait ---- is it a girl?? Michaela then!:rotfl:

That's really funny, naming the baby Michael, because we were talking about baby names with them the other day. We started coming up with sports stars' names. My brother and SIL are insane Redwings fans and my favorite Redwing is Henrik Zetterberg, so I suggested Henrik! :lmao:

Obviously, we were getting a little silly, because before that we were coming up with crazy Bible names like Abednego, my brother's personal favorite. :lmao:

Anywho, one of the many reasons Henrik got shot down was because they don't want the name to have any K sound in it (especially at the end) because their last name starts with a K and it makes it really hard to say. We ran into the same problem when naming the girls, because my last name starts with a K as well!

Soooooooooo, to make this very long story short...Michael (or Michaela) will not happen.

Maybe I should suggest Timothy??? :cheer2:

Sat Nov 7 ~ Arrival / DHS evening ~ Dinner at Sci-Fi Dine-InGood! Start the vacation off with a milkshake.:goodvibes

Sun Nov 8 ~ Lunch at resort / AK 12-5 / Evening free ~ Dinner at Whispering Canyon Cafe ??What if here instead of Whispering Canyon you get supper at Kona OR at O'Hana at the Poly and then watch Wishes from the beach there? Have you ever done this? It's spectacular. And since you won't be up early for a RD it wouldn't matter if you're out til ten or so. And... bonus... you can get a dole whip there.;)

Mon Nov 9 ~ DTD ~ Wolfgang Puck Express Lunch / Boardwalk in the evening ~ Dinner at Big River Grille oooh- since you're staying at POR, take the boat to DTD.:thumbsup2 AND--- we like BRG!!:rotfl:

Tues Nov 10 ~ DHS rope drop until about 4-5 ~ Lunch at ?? / Evening free ~ Dinner at ??If you decide to watch Wishes from the beach on Sunday night, you could do Whispering Canyon here. Or even do Kona supper here.

Wed Nov 11 ~ Free morning ~ Lunch at ?? / MK 3-close ~ Dinner at ??(maybe Tony's ?) ~ WishesI'd do a leisurely morning here too, then head to a late lunch in the MK at LTT- have you eaten there? It's good for lunch. Then for dinner I'd do a CS late- around 7pm- or vice-versa. TS at LTT for dinner and CS at Columbia Harbor House for lunch ( our fave).

Thur Nov 12 ~ Late breakfast at Kona Cafe / Epcot 12-close ~ Dinner at LeCellier ~ IllumiNations good- you can take the monorail over.

Fri Nov 13 ~ Free Day / Dinner at Turf Club ? / DTD What about seeing a movie at DTD? That's fun. Or rent some boats there. We enjoy that- and the kids love to drive them.

Sat Nov 14 ~ Breakfast at Crystal Palace ~ MK rope drop until about 2-3 / Evening free ~ Dinner ?? Early dinner at MK? Like Tony's or somewhere close by? the Wave at the Contemp. before going back to pack up?

Sun Nov 15 ~ Departure

Hmmm JO, maybe November would work out for you then. . . . Too bad we would miss each other by a few days though.

Did you get any PINS for this fall? Probably not, I've been hogging them all over here. :rotfl: I tell ya, no codes for years and then 3-4 this year! :confused3

Oh absolutely. Timothy.:lovestruc A good, strong name.:worship:

I've already been told that if our Beau Gator the Bulldog happens to meet an early demise, poor baby, that a white bulldog puppy with the name General Timothy Tebowne will be coming to live with us. Um, yeah, not again, not with the $2000+ price tags a white pure bred bully costs.

What if your last name was Kendrick and you named your boy Henrik Kendrik? I like it.:thumbsup2:rotfl2:

Speaking of Mr Superman... found this article about him. It's superb.

Just some ideas---

Thanks for all the ideas! I have been fudging with the schedule for the last hour. I needed a break from planting shrubs!

Nope, we've never watched Wishes from the Poly beach. Sounds wonderful though!

I am thinking about adding Boatwright's at POR for my last TS meal. . . Maybe one of those evenings that we have no plans for. I don't suppose anyone has been there?

I will look at the Columbia Harbour House menu. We need a new CS place in MK. I am about tired of Casey's! :guilty: Don't tell my family - they will shoot me! We ate at Pecos Bills on our first trip and had a bad experience there. I am willing to give it another try especially since everyone else seems to love it. I'd also like to try Cosmic Ray's. Hmm. . . maybe I'll skip TS meals in MK and try for 2 CS meals. . . Except for Crystal Palace of course!

I am excited to try breakfast at Kona. I figured we could sleep in that morning. Maybe get a 10:30 ADR and then after we are finished we can walk over to the TTC and take the monorail to Epcot.

Hi MAYers!

How is everyone?

I hope all is well. I tried to get caught up on the thread. Whew! You guys have been busy!

Shelly - The house looks great! You guys have done so much work.

RF - I can't wait to see photos of your new place. I bet you can't wait to get internet!

Lake - Sounds like you have your house in order and are planning away for your shopping trip to PB.

Sea - It looked like DL was a lot of fun this weekend!

Jo - HI looked amazing. FYI - We did take our kids on Spring Break this year. It worked out well for us. Our school is really frowning on taking kids out at the ages of my children.

Trixi - Hope all is well with you and I have been known to take a little Benadryl myself to get some sleep.

Mari - Hope you are having a great summer with Marissa!

Hey Shelly! did you get your landscaping done?

We haven't gotten any more pins since we got the gluttony of them back in the winter.

Hum, maybe they come at different seasonal times.:confused3 It'll be my turn as soon as the fall starts again. I haen't done anything lately for them to come, though. Haven't ordered any dvd's or anything. I guess if I'm thinking of going I'd better do it.

I haven't talked to Mark about any of these times floating in my head, just sort of kicking it around to myself.

And you of course. As always.:cutie:

If we went in Nov, that's right, we would miss each other by a bit. BUT, if WE went......... and you're there, and we get Sea with us that month........ hum.......
can you say photopass ??????????????:rotfl:

Don't count me in yet. A lot has to occur.:rotfl:

Oh heck no, the landscaping is not done. It's just on break! I just can't dig like DH can. . . I don't have much weight to put on the shovel I guess! :confused3

Funny that you mention the photopass thing! I was just saying to DH last night that we won't be getting it this year because of the whole no photopass share thing on the DIS anymore. . . I like how you are thinking though!! :thumbsup2 I would never pay full price for it. It's just not worth it.

HI NC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So glad you're back! Tell us all about the trip. Everything.

Did you meet Mr. President?
Did he have you over for supper?

Breakfast?

Lunch????

Snack??/

DC was wonderful. The weather was perfect, upper 70's to low 80's and no humidity! No rain, well maybe a sprinkle but it was unseasonably cool!

The sites were awesome.

The only negative was at Little Rock Airport, someone stole my family's Burger King meal. I told Chris to stand there to wait for the food. There was quite a line. Chloe and I were getting our drinks, ketchup, etc. Well, Chris sat down at a table to wait, rather than wait at the counter. When I got to the table, I told him people who ordered after us had their food. Well, when they called out the orders, they didn't go by number but called out doublecheeseburger, 2 chicken nugggets, and 3 fries. Well, someone else pounced on it. Leaving an unclaimed Whopper Jr. Luckily, the cashier girl, remembered us and had the line guy remake our food. I am sure someone somewhere enjoyed at Burger King feast at the airport.

JO!!!

Did I know you had a bulldog??? DD9 and I want to see a picture!!!

Our friend MP has a a bulldog, too. :rolleyes1
